Just got done beating Jak 3 myself and found it a bit disappointing. It really seemed to be a major step in the wrong direction in my book--alot of missions were utter crap, especially any driving/hoverboard ones. Better off getting R&J at $50 and wait for Jak III to hit the bargin bin.

My question is about the Yu-Gi-Oh GBA game? What version is it for $15? The Eternal Duelist Soul is the newest one and IGN gave it a favorable 8/10 which is alot higher than any other Yu-Gi-Oh game and there's alot of them. Think there's at least three GBA ones no less. Thinking about getting this game for my little cuz since they play the card game.

This week is a goldmine for me!

Kingdom Hearts for $25 is sweet! I still have $6 BB Bucks. Anyone know if I can combine BB bucks with $5 off GGC coupon?

I'm also getting Donkey Konga for $38!

KotORII + free guide for $50 and Baten Kaitos for $40 is also tempting... Might pick those up.

Thanks Wario!

Kingdom Hearts for GBA sounds tempting, but that's it. The Donkey Konga deal at Target is also a good deal. If I didn't already own Taiko Drum Master, I'd be all over that.
Does anyone know if any Best Buy in the Bay Area has the GCC?
The one in Union city does.

Thanks a lot Wario. Donkey Conga looks damn tempting. Sorry if this question is asked a lot, but does BB let you use a GGC with a price match?

And for people who have trouble finding GGCs in the game department, don't forget to look in the area where you check out (where they have candy and stuff). At a Best Buy I was at yesterday, they had the regular GGC (exp. not till 12/31/05), as well special ones for PS2, XBox, and GC. Not to mention ones for DVDs, music, and a gazillion varieties of their Christmas gift cards.

Yes, I'm wondering which Yu-Gi-Oh game that is as well. Thanks for the ads, Wario.

Hello was the GC games in the sears add, because they don't sell GC games at my sears but I would like to price match Mario Tennis.

KH at BB and HL 2 at BB both are EXTREMELY tempting. Those are going to be VERY difficult to resist. I still have to buy Christmas Presents and other such things. DANG IT!

Anyone have any idea if Target will have Pirates! Limited DVD Edition and if so will it be 39.99..

Does anyone know if any Best Buy in the Bay Area has the GCC?
The one in Union city does.
Was that recent because I was there a few weeks ago and couldn't find it.

Union City, Emeryville, Concord, Dublin, and Pinole have plenty of GGCs. Those are all BBs I've been to in the past year and I've always seen them. Never had a problem finding one, though the Union City one has now put the EA Gift card and Console Specific cards around so you may have to search for the regular GGC.

I was surprised with the sales at Sears this week, I may have to do some Christmas shopping there, as I'm considering a nice air hockey table too.

QUESTION: I think I have the Circuit City ad for the following week. (It has greatest hits for Xbox and PS2 2 for $30...) How do I figure out which one it is? I'm sure it's an advance copy (It has Ludacris new cd on the front for $9.

Look at the bottom of the last page, right under the red horizonal "Circuit City" line. In smallish print, it should say "advertised prices effective */*/* - */*/*."

Thanks, spooky. Between you, me and the CAG world, I can get these things normally two weeks in advance. Is there a need for me to get this type these out or is this taken care? I'm just eager to help. Thanks again.

If you can get them to us two weeks in advance, that'd be great. If not, that's okay. Wario still posts them early for us.

What exactly does the Citcuit City ad mean bythat $10 gift card. Does that mean if you buy a 19.99 game you get a $10 gift card as well, seems too good to be true.

20 buck game-- 15 after cgg x5 = 75 and get 10 buck gift card

would knock each game down to 13
Sounds like it should work, but are there actually still that many 20 buck games that you want?

Target has the wavebird for $23.xx (after the 20% off?)

On non-gaming related, they had 100 mini-xmas lights various colors, 1.79 each... bought 5 boxes.

I just wanted to let you guys know that my BB has ESPN NHL 2K5 for Xbox on sale for 14.99 as well. Wario has it listed as PS2 version only for the sale price, but I got the Xbox version for the same sale price too. I dunno if it's just my store or not, but if anybody is interested in picking up the Xbox version instead, BB just might hook you up.

In theory that would work but you would have to find a cashier that will let you ring up 5 games with 5 GGC coupons on the same transaction.

The Best Buy registers will recognize unlimited GGC coupons per transaction as long as they are rung up properly....

Scan game
Scan GGC coupon
Scan game
Scan GGC coupon
etc.

So if you could find a cashier willing to do that, it would work.

If the cashier scans all the games and the scans all the coupons last, the system will only register the discount off of the last game.

I just received an email from Comp USA about an In Store Sale - "Saturday December 12 Only"

"Buy 2, Get the 3rd Free instantly on any Playstation 2, Xbox or Gamecube video game. First item must be of equal or lesser value to the lowest item purchased."

I'm not sure about their selection and the ad has Halo: Combat Evolved XB for $39.99, so I'm not sure about their prices either.

As long as they have the newers releases at the retail price of $50, its all good. I want to pick up Mario Party 6, Baten Kaitos and Mario Tennis. Hopefully they have all three....

*Edit* Isn't Dec 12 on a sunday? Not sat?

I've done this a couple of times when they've had the spend $100, get a $20 GC. Haven't had any problem with it.

Edit: They actually scanned all the games first, then all the coupons.

I use to work at CompUSA, read the fine print and it will say that you can only get one offer per household. Basically don't try to get more than 3 from any one store. Usually the stores are cool and don't allow employees to hold back merchadnise for themselves until the store opens so you may be able to get some of the better titles if they have any left.

The stores never got a lot of copies for newer games (maybe 5 ) unless it was something like Halo 2. To me it looks like they trying to get people to know that they carry this stuff; the average person does not hear CompUSA and think Playstation.

This Sunday will have a huge Videogame ad for CompUSA, I heard from a friend who still works at a store that they will have tons of games starting at $5 for all systems with and without instant rebates and gift cards, they will even cash out the gift card for this one sale if you want. Me, I'm waiting for Sunday.

Could you find out which games are involved in this sale? I want to get Midway Arcade Treasures, Atari Anthology, and Namco Museum for $40

Quick question on the $10 gift card to Circuit City when you buy a video game over $20. Is that in store only or can it be done online as well?

You have to buy an accessory over $20 as well bringing the total spending to $40 at the very least to get the card.

Whoops. I guess I read the "and" as "or" in the original post. Thanks.

No problem. I wish that were the case as well. The deals aren't going to be as sweet with Black Friday having just passed.

Just got off the phone with my frined, she said every store is going to have something different and that they are actually pulling stuff off of the floor to make sure they have the $5 items when they open on Sunday. I asked her about the games you mentioned and her store did not have them; she said that CompUSA many of the titles at $5 are no longer being purchased so one store may not have title A, but the store down the street could have 10 copies of it. The ad isn't suppose to list specific titles and she said her manager had the complete list and didn't want to ask him for it because he might start askign her questions as to why.

Ok.. how do you think I should plan my trip. Should I go tomorrow to check out what they have and then if they have it come back the next day? It'll most likely be $20 titles at $5 right? Man I hope I can get away with some nice stuff.
To me it looks like they trying to get people to know that they carry this stuff; the average person does not hear CompUSA and think Playstation.
I didn't even know CompUSA sold games until I joined CAG.

Dang, I bought MGS3 the week it came out from BB. Would they price match and give me the difference back if I bring the CompUSA ad to BB?
Yes they will price match you if it hasnt been 30 days yet.
W00t! Thanks! Even though I used a 10%-off coupon to buy it, will spend gas money tomorrow to get the PM to get another 5 bucks knocked off just to be a Devil Customer(R). :D
