What Firefox Extensions/Add-Ons Do You Use?

hiccupleftovers

CAGiversary!
Well, it's been a long time since my last thread on Firefox extensions, which was also geared towards FF 1.5-2, and I have recently updated to the new Firefox 3 on a fresh install/new computer, so what are some good extensions? FF has definitely changed over the years, so what are some of the first extensions you get after a new installation?

Just Adblock Plus and NoScript for me. Also OpenDownload since I'd rather open most files from temp. Also install Chatzilla every so often whenever I really need to go on IRC.

Adblock Plus
Chatzilla
Customize Google
Download Statusbar
Forecast Fox
Foxmarks
IE Tab
WebMail Notifier
Wizz RSS
Woot Watcher.

That's all of my extensions at the moment.

I've been forced to work off of IE 7 for quite sometime now, but since the transition to FF 3, has AdBlock Plus's memory signature been worked on/decreased? I remember that it seemed to be a great extension but would cause my FF's memory to definitely increase (noticeable difference with and without it).

For those of you with several FF extensions, how's the memory footprint for you? I have plenty of memory now 4GB, but would still like to limit it as much as possible since I tend to run several programs at once.

Screen Grab!

The ones with stars are exceptionally helpful and most often used.

Adblock Plus (and Filterset.G Updater)
DictionarySearch (That was from a while ago, might delete that one...deleted)
Download Statusbar
Forecastfox
IE Tab
Image Zoom
Tab Mix Plus
Translator

Speed Dial.

Sweet program if you just need to check a bunch of sites for status updates.

You just click a button and it pulls up 9 sites in a 3x3 grid with a snapshot preview of each.

I use it for course websites for my classes so I can quickly check all my classes to see if anythign new has been posted. I also have zero punctuation on speed dial.

Visual bookmarks really.

Adblock Plus
Adblock Filterset.G Updater
Screen grab!
Session Manager
Stealther
Greasemonkey (which I use to remove about.com and answers.com results from google searches, turn non-hyperlinked URLs into links, and add a download button on youtube).

Adblock Plus
Brief (kicks all other RSS readers asses)
Cookie Button
CustomizeGoogle
Download Statusbar
Gmail Manager
IE View
Tab Control
Throbber Button (useful for hiding porn with an instant jump to about:blank, provided who enters the roof doesn't find it odd you stare at blank webpages)

These are mandatory for me when I install Firefox. I use a few others but not that much.

Speed Dial is the shit. That and the add on for mouse gestures are what finally made me switch away from Opera on my PC. On my Mac, FF is garbage.

Wasn't Opera the first browser to have speed dial?

On a somewhat related note I'm pretty sure they are including a speed dial feature in Firefox 3.1 so everyone will get to use it.
