I really hope it does come out this year... and after playing RPG's like Fable III and DA2, i think its about time we get a good/mature RPG game on the 360 that doesnt hold your hand all the way till the end (Looking at you Fable)

Ha, I really loved both of those games, so I wouldn't mind a little more hand-holding than the PC version of W2 apparently contained. :lol:

DA2 was alright for me, got much better in the last 2 acts but Fable 3 was so short (and easy) that i couldnt even believe it ended! Not really a fan of both but they had their moments i guess.
 
Must haves:
Batman Arkham City - I played through AA, loved it, and I want more of it. As long as it's as good as it's predecessor than I'm golden.

Resistance 3: I haven't played any of it's past two games, but because they implemented the PS Move, I'm in. If it's anything like Killzone 3's setup then I won't be disappointed.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - I know what people are thinking, big hype for this game, already lots of awards are being thrown at it left and right. But UC2 was so great and UC3 is shaping up to be just as good as UC2 if not better. I think all the expectations are right on the money. Multiplayer looks like it received a HUGE improvement. I'm surprised this isn't on more people's list.

Assassin's Creed Revelations - It's simple, I love everything about the franchise. From the story, gameplay, and characters. But most of all, I just want to see how it all ends XD

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Zelda 'nuff said.

Maybe:
Dead Island - One hell of a CG trailer, but the gameplay itself didn't really impress me. I'm a sucker for zombies though; we'll see how reviews pan out.
 
Batman, Gears and Uncharted. I won't be buying them though (I refuse to pay full price) but it will be good to tell people to buy them for me when they ask what I want for Christmas/birthday.

I'm not going to be buying anymore new releases until I Am Alive hopefully comes out sometime in 2012.:pray: Of course, that's only if there's possibly a demo and/or a ton of videos out for it before its release.

Otherwise I'll be stalking the clearance bin at Sears and waiting for cheap games I can pick up in the meantime.

Cuz morrowind, oblivion, fallout 3 were all great out of the gate in my mind.

From what I recall Oblivion and Fallout 3 both had a good bit of bugs until the first patches were out.

But that's just what I recall from forum posts/reviews as I played both well after release so patches were already out by that time.

Personally, I don't play those kind of games at launch as I'd rather wait a year or two for the inevitable game of the year edition with the DLC included.
 
There are games that are buggy but are still fun nonetheless. Fallout 3 is a great example of that, though I honestly never encountered any bugs. Star wars galaxies too. Best MMORPG ever made. And that's a FACT (shaddup).

Journey is made by thatgamecompany, the company behind flow and Flower. Jonathan Blow (Braid dude) is working on a game called The Witness.
