What is the difference between an LCD TV and an LCD Projection TV?

Lcd is a tv made up of dots. Each dot is comprised of 3 colors: red, blue, green. Take all those dots together that makes up your picture.

A projection lcd fires the signal at through a color wheel/ lcd chip.

The both work great it comes down to which con you want to deal with. projection has Light-bulbs that needs changed, and some can have the screen door effect, LCDtv can have dead, or stuck pixels, and lag issues.

An LCD TV is a tv like plasma that the image is created on the screen itself. That is the reason the larger the much more expensive, because the panel that creates the image is that much larger. A LCD projection (same w/ DLP and Locos) projects the image from a small chip or chips depnding on the type. Then you get more picture per inch of diagnal measurement.
