What was the last concert/show you went to?
Yeah about. Even got a Dead Kennedys cover as well, but mostly current stuff.
Awesome! So, the DK cover I'm thinking was, "Nazi Punks fuck Off!"?

Bell Witch
Worm Ouroboros
Mitochondrion
Loss

I was a little disappointed, it felt like Loss played a really short set. Really good sets overall but I kind of wanted Loss to just keep playing.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor tonight. Really cool. No East Hastings though I get it that they don't want to play it every single concert. There were moments where the concert was more than amazing. Downsides are the pure drone down times. Band trying to catch their breath but I did yawn so yeah not fond of that. Overall though I'm very happy I finally got to see them after coming to terms that that would likely never happen.

Another concert tonight:

Orbital. This was a wonderful wonderful wonderful experience. I was smiling all the way home. Classic.

Of Monsters and Men on Saturday. I'm not into new alternative that much but it was actually a really good show. Was really surprised to hear that it was sold out. I didn't know they were that popular.

shit its been a while but i think im the only person who saw Nas in september then a week later saw Regina Spektor then Eddie Griffin for the second time.

Dave Matthews Band last night.

Great show, with a solid set list. All the stuff off the newest album was very good live. Was great being on the floor 20 feet or so back after mainly having lawn or back of pavilion seats to see them in recent years.

Loincloth
Dead In The Dirt
Earth
SUNN O)))

Fuck. That was the loudest thing I have ever heard. Bass entered every part of my being and I forgot there was such a thing as silence.

Smashing Pumpkins last weekend, Eve 6 last Monday. Never saw SP before, and they are one of my favs so was good to go to that. Eve 6 was OK (wife wanted to see more), but venue was pretty sweet. Will have to keep an eye out for future stuff there. Sonata Arctica would have been cool to see there, but they had same night as SP so can't be upset I missed that.

Knew there was a thread for concerts somewhere here!

Come February I will be seeing Silverstein for the 5th and 6th time in Asbury and Philly. Cannot Wait!
Red Hot Chili Peppers in Pittsburgh back in May. Upcoming would be fuckface Unstoppable in March and Clutch in April.
Big Clutch fan (if you couldn't tell my avatar).

I'm gonna try and see Clutch for 14th time in March down in Cincy. They always put on an awesome show! First time I saw them was back in '92 or '93 with Sepultura at The Newport in Cbus.

Here is a link to their instagram account.

They recently posted some images from their first tour. The funny thing is Tim still looks about the same albeit larger and older.

JP rocking the Redman hat  He looks so much different.

Neil with the porn stache.

Dan with the quintessential "90's dude" haircut.

Even though they look different, I still recognize some of their mannerisms to this day.

Somethings never change.

today you have to live in a major city to have any concerts coming... back in the late 80s early 90s we had concerts here every month sometimes every 3 weeks.... cant even remember the last time we had a major concert here besides elton john last summer... loved the 75 bucks for behind the stage seats and people PAID LOL FOOLS

Soundgarden last Friday at the Wiltern, followed by Tomahawk at the Mayan Tuesday.

One of the best facets of living in Los Angeles is getting scads of good shows. My wife is going to see Zach Galifanakis tomorrow night as well... of course, he doesn't rock as loud as Soundgarden.

Gotta love a two day roadtrip! The Silverstein concert dates were pretty amazing! Even more so when I didn't have to pay for the tickets! haha

saw Mushroomhead and Gemini Syndrome at Vinyl City Music Hall in p'cola a couple weeks ago.. Headed to Jacksonville in April for the Welcome to Rockville 2 day festival. Over 60 bands at that one.

Saw Gavin Harrison & 05Ric tonight. A nice laid back show showcasing some highly advanced musicians.
You guys will know Gavin from his drumming on Porcupine Tree albums since 2002.

MUSE.
Las Vegas.
Amazing.

Flying into Washington tomorrow and I'm seated right next to the engine, but I'll be able to sleep soundly after that.

Polar opposites for my last two shows.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra on Friday. Played a piece by Ravel, then a Bassoon Concerto by Mozart and finished with Beethoven's Synmphony No. 6.

Bad Religion last night, Burns like Fire and Polar Bear Club opened. Awesome show, especially Bad Religion. Have been a big fan since the early 90's, but first time seeing the live. Put on a great show with a great set list.

Next up will be some free concerts around the Final Four in a couple of weeks. Sting, Muse and DMB are the main ones I want to catch.

All the times I've seen Bad Religion they have always put on a great show. Do you remember the set list?

Those Who Lie Beneath
Bloodhunger
Phalgeron
Funeral Age
Theories
Nile

Fuck me did Nile play a long time. Performed a one hour set, took a ten minute break, then performed another hour. Well worth admission price.

saw Hinder, Charm City Devils and this new band that Octane on SiriusXM been pushing a lot past week called Acidic at Club LA in Destin, Florida last weekend.

Last two concerts I saw was Enter The Haggis and Wishbone Ash. They were one day apart.

Enter The Haggis- They are a roots rock/celtic band. They played good, except they need to change up their setlist. Played the same songs as last time I seen them besides new stuff.

Wishbone Ash- They fucking killed it. Started off playing Argus in it's entirety and then took and break and played another or so hour. Great musicianship 40 years later still.

I saw Muse in Tampa. They were indeed awesome. Much better than the last time I saw them opening up for U2. They did not want to be there

KMFDM with Legion Within. KMFDM was delightful like always, but the lead singer of Legion Within is no goddamn Raymond Watts and hearing him do Anarchy was like having my senses torn apart by cactus's.

Body Betrayal
Hysterics
The Need
Behead The Prophet, No Lord Shall Live

What a rager. BTPNSLS still rips after all these years. I also love how they went on hiatus for 15 years and the only reason they started playing again this year was someone asked them to.

Cool. I'd definitely would like to see KMFDM once in my life. I rarely listen to them as their music isn't my thing but I'd still like to check them out live. It probably isn't relevant to me but as a fan such as yourself is the setlist satisfactory. Just wondering cause they have released many albums and I can see some people not necessarily wanting a concert leaning on the newer material.

They usually do like a 90 minute set, but I'd say it's half new stuff (meaning stuff from their permanent line up now with Lucia, Jules on guitar, etc.) and the other half is like more of the 90's songs. Things like Megalomaniac, Drug Against War, D.I.Y. and their newer songs sound much better live. Kunst in particular is just stupid fun to sing and get into even if you never heard that album since...yeah...
