What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!

Anarchy: Rush Hour is surprisingly fun. If you only like Gran Turismo type racers or are expecting Burnout Pardise 2 for 8 bucks, you won't enjoy it though.

Are you guys serious about the PS1 game thing? I thought this had been explained a hundred times before. There are many behind the scene things that need to happen before a PS1 game can be uploaded. I'm willing to be the number one reason a lot of the most demanded games aren't uploaded yet is because of licensing issues with the in-game music. It's not as simple as sending Sony a file and saying, "Here you go, upload our entire PS1 catalog please!"

Hamsterball is a lot of fun, especially when playing with someone in races. Think Super Monkey Ball, without the tilting... You control the Hamster, and they move fast! It's easy to play, but it can get challenging, but not to the point where you feel like you can't complete it. I enjoy it :)

I think at least half the people that complain (including me) still keep this factor in mind.

There's a ton of PS1 games that can be ported that are at lest decent with easy licensing vs some other titles so in some forms its a bit of a mystery why there's still so little.

I still have them both on DC (higher res vs PSX versions!) so I'll pass.

I wonder if anyone ever did anything with the ECW games other than immediately make a barbed wire match, win it, get bored with the game, and turn it off.
 
Dead or Alive Paradise? I'm actually surprised that is up so soon. I downloaded it and started playing it with voices set to English by mistake... Tina's voice makes me want to punch babies.

This is the game I think of when I think "PS1 Classic". I'm glad it's finally released, I can play it in between Perfect Weapon and Bass Pro Fishing. Man, PS1 was the best system out there, Sony proves that to us every week.

Picked up Magic Orbz and Digger HD. Magic Orbz is pretty fun. Glad I waited to get it on the cheap. I guess I should have seen if the bundle was on sale. Oh well, the devs are pretty cool; they even replied to my questions on the official PS blog.

Yeah, the Burnout Paradise bundles are still up there for those prices, so get 'em before they're gone.
 
April Fool's Day was probably the best day to ever release NBA Unrivaled, as those that bought it got fooled in buying an awful game and were probably burned worse than anybody on the internet yesterday.

No joke. I really thought that after the awful reviews it got on XBLA, Sony would just reject it...but no, we have that filthy dung on the PSN too.:)
 
This is the first I've heard about NBA Unrivaled but damn. How hard is it to make a good arcadey basketball game?

Here's the formula.

1. Take the most exciting/skilled guys from the NBA.
2. Amp them up in the game so every other basket is either a crazy slam dunk or a monstrous 3 pointer.
3. Reduce the number of players on the court so you don't have to be a basketball expert to understand who's moving where.
4. Get rid of the penalties.
5. Profit?

There, that's it. That has been all that was needed since NBA Jam. It also worked in NBA Street (although I haven't played the less well-received third game). I should make arcade style basketball games.
 
It's like they put as little effort into the game as possible to see if the NBA license was enough to sell the game, but it just makes it easier to look forward to EA's NBA Jam remake. That's getting some good buzz from what little I've read.

I noticed that the Training Points DLC for MLB 10: The Show was the best selling item for the week before last. The Franchise Funds DLC was only #13.

I bought a couple of those training points because I had some extra money in my wallet and I was tired of my pitcher having horrible control when he first started.
