What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!

The soundtrack for Shatter will be coming this week with an added bonus:
Sidhe, New Zealand's largest game production studio, today announced that the award winning Shatter™ soundtrack, as well as a new Dynamic Theme for its popular original brick-breaking game, will be available for download via the North American PlayStation Store starting April 29th. Additional territories will follow in the near future.

The Shatter soundtrack is available for US$5.99, and is bundled with the Shatter Dynamic Theme and Shatter concept art as a bonus. The Dynamic Theme is also available separately for US$2.99.

“Shatter continues to add new fans every day, and the soundtrack by talented artist Module has won multiple awards since the game launched last year,” said Mario Wynands, Managing Director of Sidhe. “Making the soundtrack and dynamic theme available on the PlayStation®Network where the game got started allows us to extend the experience beyond the confines of the title itself.”

The Shatter soundtrack features 14 tracks with over 90 minutes of original music, and has won multiple awards including Giant Bomb Best Original Soundtrack 2009, and the PSNstores.com Best Soundtrack 2009. It’s also available digitally from BandCamp (http://sidhe.bandcamp.com/) and iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/shatter-official-videogame/id345743185) as well as on physical CD from CDBaby (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/module)

JPN store already has a ¥400 "Challenger's Pack" for Super Street Fighter IV. I spent maybe a second looking at it, but I noticed that it's 86KB in size, so it's a disc unlock code. Not sure of the content other than it being on the disc already.

I noticed a SSFIV thing in the US store last night. Probably the same thing.

Anybody get a demo code for Mod Nation Racers yet??

I got mine today (and no you can't have it. =P ) Just wondering how much into the wild the codes have gotten. Or if they're doing a limited roll out for the demo or something...
It's for people that signed up for the newsletter on the official site, which also got themes for the PS3 and PSP.
I never did.

But then again I've been/was/still am (if it exists in any form) a member of the PSU/GAP and its variations for ages, plus I buy odds and ends on the PSN, still I was surprised they send a demo code out for this early to me.

Weird that they sent it to me then (not complaining, just curious as to why I got one) oh well, going to d/l it now. :)

They haven't sent me beta codes or anything since the MGO thing.

OT: Thankfully my system weathered the 3.30 FW update fine with no major issues (so far) installed Batman to make sure my BD drive didn't get hit (as some other people mentioned issues)
It's the "Super Challengers Costume Pack 1" DLC for $3.99, so they're selling more costumes for their new re-release.
Capcom's gonna Capcom.
It's 851 MB.

I have sizes for any PSP compatible games (PS1, PSP, and Minis) listed in the OP.
Thanks, don't know how I missed that in the OP, I'll be sure to refer to it in the future.
Wakeboarding HD demo will be out tomorrow. Looks like Lead & Gold will be out next Tuesday.
So by this I assume we will be getting the last thursday update today and then the first tuesday update next week? I wasn't sure since I don't remember them ever making that clear.

 Well, even though I have PixelJunk Monsters coming in for the PSP from Amazon, I guess I'll buy the PSN one now. I've been waiting for 1 1/2 years for that to go back on sale. It was on sale right before I got my PS3 in Nov 2008. Too bad I picked up Eden already or the $9.99 bundle would have been perfect. I hear Racers isn't all that great, though, so I'll just get Monsters.
Dark Forces for me.

Agarest War isn't coming out on disc, right?
Nope, disc for 360 only.

I'm interested in the JC2 DLC mostly as I already own all th PJ games I wanted.

Meh, not much out there for me this week. Anyone who didn't get the Revenge of the Wounded Dragon should snatch it up while it's 1/2 price. It's a really good game (if you like Double Dragon-ish games). Love the Co-op game play.

Just noticed the Wakeboarding HD dynamic theme is FREE over on the EU store. It's really bland and boring....but hey it's moving right!?! Haha just saw the shark
Revenge is $9.99 now.
Ouch... oh well, maybe they'll have another sale at some point. Still a fun game though. If you get the free PSN cards (like I do) from the Sony Rewards card, then it may be worth it...

Wow only $44 and 9GB, Record of Argrest War is going to be a huge seller :booty:

I still think they really fudged this opportunity, put it on disc and I will buy it.

Did the UK release for PS3 get a Blu-ray release? People were talking about importing on various forum threads, but I don't know if that's what they meant.

I think all markets (except US) got a disc.

They got one yes, but it's a slightly edited version.
Different localization, no trophies, and slightly less content.

It'll be $29.99 before long (possibly $19.99), and I STILL won't buy it! 9 GB for a game is definitely a "no thanks". Even though I have a 500 GB HD, still I can't see myself adding this to my collection of nearly 50 PSN games, and playing it enough to justify the space required.
Time to pick up Pixel Junk Shooter.

-----

What's the word on Kick-Ass the game? Is there a demo for it?
I've only seen one review (IGN) and it's not favorable (4/10). It's IGN, so take it how you will, but some of the flaws seem pretty reasonable: repetitive combat (though it's a beat-em-up, so, well, yeah,) and bad camera seem to be the big ones.

Sucks that Tecmo Bowl did not come out this week with the 360 version! In for PJShooter. Was thinking of Monsters but remembered I have a PSP Component Cable. Already got Eden.
Never signed up for any newsletter or done any "the PSU/GAP and its variations" whatever that is and I got one.
Just realized you meant Playstation Underground, I am a member so that must be why I got the code too.

There are some really kick ass PSN titles coming out later this year, i can't wait.
Blade Kitten, Explodemon, Rush 'n Attack, I can't wait!

True. Of all the things I like about PS3, the PSN may be my favorite. I'd never have dreamed that I'd own 48 games since first buying my system in 2007. My initial thoughts of the PSN was that the games offered were mediocre at best. Now I seem to spend more time playing them than I do my disc based games. I can play Peggle for 15 or 20 minutes, Zen Pinball for another 20 minutes, and Shatter for another 20-25 minutes and I've met my gaming fix for the day.

Fixed...;)

(or didn't they say it was coming out within the year...)
