When do newegg rebate cards expire?

I was wondering how long you have to use rebate cards you get from newegg before the value on it expires.

Just to be clear, I'm NOT referring to the manufacturer rebates, but the rebate cards you get from promos offered by newegg themselves.

I vaguely remember someone on SD saying you only have 3 months after you receive the card to use it.

Expires on whatever the date is on the card, which is usually 6 months

It should tell you on the paper that it's stuck to when you first receive the card, and diminishing value (after a certain amount of time it will start to deduct from your amount, but usually will never expire) will vary depending on which state you live in because each state have different laws in regards to VISA,MC, and Amex Gift Cards (I assume these are the rebate cards you are referring to).  Even with regular gift cards it will vary by state.
