I'm sure he's not the only one with it in his TL. Besides on here, finding one online or at retail will be a real bite in the ass.

Can't comment on the quality of any of the following:

Thanks for the help mod shrike4242 :).

I was able to get mine yasterday at a store which sell classic games.

The cheapest I seen it for new is $20 for an official one. It easier to find an S-video AV Pack for xbox.

Don't buy those third party one from the links he gave u, they are realy bad signal. I have went through 4 third party one from different company, they all gave me mess up signal or stop working including grainy signals.

If you have no choise but to get a third party one. Then get this http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801798 out of all the third party one, this gave me the less problems and quality issues.

Good luck if you still looking for an official one.

the only one that is easy to find and 100% reliable is the over priced MONSTER

believe me ive tried them all, and the only one w/o signal loss is the official MS brand (hard to find and over priced used) or the monster brand.

These are also the only 2 that support 5.1 audio, and monster rapes you even harder by forcing you to buy their special toslink cable.

Ive had brands from "arsenal" madkatz and a generic gamestop brand...

they all worked OK but the madkatz doesnt do 5.1 audio and the gamestop brand had color issues.

the arsenal worked fairly decent but had signal loss at 720p on games like Hulk UD

I've had good results with the Mad Catz/Gamestop Universal Component Cables. It's labeled Mad Catz at EB and Gamestop at GS.

But if you really want the original MS brand ones, check for the MS Advanced AV Pack. The picture shown for the HD AV pack is wrong (it's the regular AV pack shown) but you might be able to find it mispackaged. I got my MS HD AV pack a couple weeks ago for about $3 after edge card. You might have the same luck. And also, btw, if you find the HD AV pack somewhere near you, check to make sure it's the right one. Some of the GS/EB I've been to have had the regular AV pack labeled as the HD AV pack. Also, keep in mind there are 2 different types of the HD AV pack, the one with the box end (you need your own component cables) and the pack which plugs right into your xbox and TV.

i use the monster one, never had any problems with it
of course it was highly overpriced (i think it was 50 when i bought it)...but at least it looks cool

I was recently looking for it too. After checking eBay, I started hitting every game store near me, and lucked onto the Monster cables used for under $10. They work fantastic; Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball on a widescreen HDTV is gorgeous and now worth all of my wife's eye-rolling!

With all the XBoxes being traded in, I'd paw through the used accessories at your local shops... maybe you'll get lucky too?
