Where is a good place to go to read up on TV's?

Steve Dave

CAGiversary!
My mother is going to get my dad a new TV for Xmas but has no idea what to get so she asked me to pick it out.

Where can I get some good info on the more expensive TVs? $5000 and under.

Thanks.

Go to Best Buy, the people are pretty knowledgable and waaaaaaaay too ugly to lie to you most of the time. They want friends!!!

This is the place to go. Stay away from most of the other sites mentioned.

Avsforum is where you'll find information on how good a product is.

If you want some information about prices, about what price would be considered a good deal, you can try places like Fatwallet and Anandtech's hot deals forums. There are others out there as well, Fatwallet is probably the biggest though.
