Which laptop better suits my needs?

CAGiversary!
I just purchased the Acer TimelineU M5-581TG-6666 15.6-inch Ultrabook: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215401 It was on sale last over the holiday season so I got it for $670.

I just found this other laptop deal for a Toshiba L855-S5383 PSKFUU-02X003 Notebook PC - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=5261332&sku=T78-156401 and its only $600.

The Toshiba is cheaper and sounds more powerful however I can't find any customer reviews anywhere online. I bought this new laptop to have something powerful and fast that will last a few years. I want something that didn't just slow down after I downloaded anti-spyware and anti-virus software. Also I'd like to get into some online games like Guild Wars 2 and Bioshock. I haven't opened the Acer laptop yet so I'm wondering if I should return it and purchase the Toshiba? The only negative I see is that it's got Windows 8 as the OS which doesn't seem too popular with people. So.. do I keep the Acer or buy the Toshiba? I'm not too tech savvy so I don't really understand all the specs. I just see higher numbers and a lower price on that Toshiba.

For that price, look into a samsung ultrabook, their build quality is way better from what I've seen. Also, windows 8 is actually super fast, and works fine for all my gaming needs.
