Who has the best free web hosting?

I am interested in making a my own web page and just interested in what people think it the best free site out there.

I would like to do my own html stuff so I am not looking for stuff that has all the templates and such already created and you just drag and click where you want stuff.

Blogger. You can start out with a readymade template, but you can create your own if you want.

www.freeservers.com has some pages. I think you have a banner ad advertising it when you make a website though. There are probally some better ones than this.

I use doteasy.com and they have free website hosting and also you can use them with no banners on your sight(site). That was the thing that got me when I signed and have been using them for years. I don't use any templates either and they have good support but search around their are thousands of hosting companies. Also it depends on what you need and want. For example doteasy hosting doesn't allow me to use php scripts on their sight which sucks with all the cool php scripts for search functions and other things. But let me know what you find because it is always good to keep your options open.
