Yes these guys are legit.. I've ordered from them a bunch in the past.

Caveats:

1. Ships from China. Be prepared to wait.
2. Reviews are mixed. Some say that they didn't work well/at all.

Overall I've never had a problem with meritline.. and I have ordered stuff with similiar reviews that showed up and worked just fine.

edit: the other products listed on the page are for a 2 and 3 pack which are obviously not priced as nicely as ordering multiple singles.

I haven't bought a 3rd party controller since my neighbor bought one for his PS1... and the system promptly stopped recognizing every controller except the 3rd party one. :lol:
 
Wow, that sucks. I've had some bad experiences with them, but nothing like that!

Mostly just issues with build quality/crappy d-pads mostly.

Actually I had a Dreamcast 1st party controller with a bad cord that borked my controller ports completely. Luckily I was able to fix it with a 40 cent resistor and some solder :) common problem, it turned out.
 
I like the tip mushroom game, it was a interesting game when I was a child, even though I like it now, I got my controller from sourcingmap
