Looks like the Wii store uses a version of Opera. The "hack" enables that to be used to browse the net.

And the obvious follow question - is it a legit hack or a spoof?

Be interesting to see what all hacks there are for the Wii down the road.

Its lagit. The hack isent on the wii so much as the server the wii is on. You make the wii think its going to the wii shop channal and it goes to google or something else. Basicly opera works, you just cant go anyplace in the wii shop channal. This lets you go other places. I still dont think its a fully working opera, as it has no back buttons ect.... but its a shell at least.
