Wii Trade in Question

I'm looking to get rid of my Wii, now that I have the Wii U. Since my kids play Skylanders with me and a few other games, I want to keep my extra Wii Remotes. Will Game Stop still take in the Wii for trade if it has everything but the Wii Remote? Or will it be better to dump it on eBay? Reason I ask, is I see they GS is offering bonus credit on console trade in. Thanks

If it is like the 360, they will require a wii remote, but it doesn't have to be first party. Might be different for the Wii, but I know that's how it is on the 360, or at least was when I was talking to them about possibly trading mine in when the slim came out.

Ok, I'll contact them and see how much I'd actually get for it to see if it's worth getting rid of the remote or picking up a third party if they still will do that.
