Regular price $329.99 at most retailers, the Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle is on sale for $249.88 today (Saturday April 2nd) and tomorrow 4/3/16 only.

I went to the Shoppers nearest my house this morning around 8:30am; they had 3 units left in stock.

Something to keep in mind is that the Nintendo NX will be launching sometime in the near future.

Saw the flyer, and was surprised to see that this still retails for $250!  Shouldn't it have dropped to $199 by now?

No. If the Wii U production rumors were true, Nintendo is still selling off their initial years run of Wii U's. Which means there have been no manufacturing efficiencies or whatever, any price drops would cause a loss. The only value Nintendo can add is tossing in games for free, and it seems they can't even put together sets that have unique looking hardware, like the old Windwaker bundle.
