You mean cough up the whole $1 they charge?

My time is more valuable than sitting on hold on the telephone and arguing with a CSR. Definitely not worth it over a buck when I can be in and out of nintendo.com with a few straps for a few bucks in under 5 minutes. As a bonus I don't have to deal with having to interpret whatever foreigner they employ for minimum wage.

the thing that bugs me is that i have seen orders of component cables where they throw in those straps @ no charge and shipping.
