Will Super Mario Galaxy be compatible with the Wii Classic Controller?....

You need the pointer for various things, so no. They could possibly map that to the second analog stick, but man would that be a bitch.
 
Despite very much being an anti-waggle kind of guy, after playing SMG at kiosks for an hour or so I never said to myself "Wow, this sure would be ten times better on a normal controller." The few motion controls on there feel natural.
 
Thanks for your help, was just debating whether to order the controller to accompany the game cuz the person whom I'm buying the game for is convinced it was compatible...doh! lol.
