Wireless controller problem

I have a G3 pelican wireless controller for GC and something is wrong with it. For instance, every time I play MOH Rising Sun on multiplayer, I always seem to walk forward when the joystick is in the neutral spot. And when I put in the name of my person, everytime I go over it moves like 3 extra spaces. Even if I use the D-pad it does that. Also when I'm aiming it twitches and stuff. What to do?

It sucks that the Wavebird doesn't have rumble but I seriously won't consider any of the crap form third parties. I can live without rumble as long as my controls are as responsive as they are with the Wavebird.
