-Purpose of Thread-
This thread will be used for posting limited-time availability custom video game inspired shirts (that was a mouthful). There are a lot of websites that sell video game inspired tshirts, but this thread will only be used to alert CAGs to shirts that are available for a limited time and/or at a special price.

Please post a link to whatever video game shirt you come across and include the game that inspired it (like "Mario"), the price if it isn't indicated in the website description below, and if possible a pic of the shirt (use spoiler for the pic to speed up page loading time).

Visit teemagnet.com for tracking the shirt of the day across multiple websites.

-Sizing Info-

Some people like to get shirts from online stores one size larger than the shirts they normally buy (like if you usually wear medium, buy large) since they can shrink a bit after the first wash. Unfortunately it's hard to come up with a general rule as sites seem to change shirt brands at any time.

Always look at the site's sizing chart before making a purchase. It may even give you a hint if you should buy one size larger than normal. If in doubt, I go one size bigger and shrink as necessary. Imho a slightly bigger shirt looks better than wearing a slightly small one.

Ordered the Castlevania shirt, thanks! :D

I swear, if I ever go to Translvania, I'm totally wearing that shirt there.
Threadless is having $10 tees til the end of today. Shipping is $5 per order, or free with $75+ orders. Here's a sample of some of their game shirts:
Yes! Thanks for the info, been waiting a few weeks to get the Star Fox shirt, as I randomly remember seeing it a while ago. Are there any coupon codes that anyone know of to make this even better?

Just found a decent Angry Birds one too!

Thanks, that is pretty cool. Doesn't make a ton of sense, since the rabbit is actually
Frank, his sister's boyfriend (not Donnie)
, but still neat.

just wondering has anyone else had problems with inconsistent sizing from RIPT? ordered a large Wargames shirt, fits like a large. ordered a large Jedi shirt, fits like a medium.

I've only ordered one shirt from RIPT and it was probably the worst quality shirt I've every owned. I will not purchase from them again.

You're not kidding. I bought one and it's an absolute joke. The fabric sucks, it's thin, it's too short, too wide...I dunno what they're thinking over there.

I sleep in it now. It's too ugly to wear in public.

Are these sites using a certain brand of shirt and then printing on them? I prefer sites that print on American Apparel shirts because they have a good fit and quality. If any sites gives you the option, thats what I would recommend.

How do they compare to Woot shirts? I've ordered half a dozen from woot, and they're all rather thin, but I don't really have problems with them.

I got that princess zelda looking blue shirt from Woot.

Not doing a woot shirt again.

Amarican Apparel or Beefy T Hanes only from now on.

Does anyplace have / sell these two options?

I ordered the Donkey Kong shirt from Ript not long ago; ordered a Medium and didn't really have any problems with fit/quality.

YOu guys say they are high quality, but can you post the brand of shirts used?

I'm particularly picky about my tees.

All Woot shirts are American Apparel. I like them (I'm wearing one of my probably 6 or 7 woot shirts) but they do shrink if you wash them in hot water and dry them.
So far I've ordered 2 shirts from Tee Fury and both feel good/high quality and fit "right."
Tee Fury are very high quality IMO. Woot shirts are good too, but I don't like their collars. They seem to stretch out a little too much for me.

Tee Fury uses their own tags with no indication of the manufacturer brand, at least on the ones I have.

Think I read it somewhere, but I also just pulled some out to compare. Fairly certain Teefury uses American Apparel.

With them I've had to buy a size larger as they seem to shrink a good bit (don't put them in the dryer!)

so which size is the most loose fitting? I wanted to get a 3xl but those can be hit or miss sometimes. I have a 3x shirt that goes to my knees and a 3x that barely goes to my belt. I don't want it to my knees but also don't want a shirt that barely fits before I can put it on.

Teefury isn't American Apparel. Shirt Woot use to be but the don't advertise it anymore so I makes me wonder if they have a off brand creating a similar AA product. Threadless is AA and Speaking of Threadless

Starting Thursday Oct 6 at 10 AM CST $10 t-shirts at Threadless.

Yeah but that AA I know will shrink on you if you aren't careful.
Maybe Teefury uses Alstyle.

Anyway, http://www.halloweencostumes.com/ has scattered VG tees and costumes. VG section is here. But the items are in odd places. Like this DK tee, its under "gorilla costumes".

I just found a few shirts at threadless that I might purchase. I'm a size L but should I order XL?

I have ordered from all of these places. Woot and Threadless seem to have the same/similar shirts.. They are thin fabric but soft and a tighter cut - a more modern type shirt. Tee Fury is a thick fabric with a wider cut, like a Reebok athletic T - I prefer this. Ript is just awful in every way.

If you are talking about TeeFury, the largest they sell is XXL.

For the Threadless and Shirt Woot, I stay with XL they are a little more narrow compared to Teefury which I get a L. Threadless does have a chest size measurement right below the price.

If you go to Shirt Woot they have a detailed sizing chart that's a similar if not identical shirt brand to Threadless.
