Some decent deals even with shipping (and tax in my case)

http://www.gohastings.com/browse/MOVIE/Ns/p_rank/Ne/2464/N/2458+4294941344/departmentName/MOVIE.uts

Used differs from Previously Viewed in that PV are ex-rentals they are getting rid of. Used is generally better as you are more likely to receive the original case, inserts and slipcovers.
My personal experience with website orders has been excellent. They ship each title seperately from different locations. Condition of everything has been excellent, especially the Blu-rays.

Someone mentioned the prices are good at the B&Ms as well but I can't confirm. My experience with the lone store near me is that the website pricing did not apply to the stores but I did not confirm beyond the single employee I asked.
Perhaps someone else can confirm.

Ordered 22 titles for an average of about 10 bucks apiece w/shipping & tax

The B&M stores are awesome. They require original packaging and check all disks when accepting used in the stores, not sure about the site though. I'd jump on this but already picked up all my blu-rays during their buy 1 get 1 free sale a couple weeks ago.

Picked up:

Wanted - $6.47
Watchmen - $9.64
The Wrestler- $7.29
Role Models - $6.80
Marley & Me - $5.85 (Fiancee demanded I buy her something)
Superman: Doomsday - $6.62
Ultimate Fighting Championship: Ultimate Comebacks - $7.69

Total:$64.39 after shipping and tax

Then went to the B&M in town and picked up Underworld 1 & 2 for $7.00 each.

Edit: OP you may want to edit the post to say this applies in store too. Can avoid shipping charges if you have a local B&M.

A couple quick questions about their site:

• What is the difference between their "Used" and "Previously Viewed" movies (asied from a few bucks)?

• Maybe someone who has this can check for me, but I was looking for the Deluxe Edition (Yellow Cover) of Full Metal Jacket on BR. The listings do not specify which version, but checking on the UPC, #085391186274 is the one I want. (012569828414 would be the first edition.) What confuses me is that the Deluxe Edition is listed for less.

Man, I miss Hastings. I grew up in Spokane Washington where we had quite a few of them. I always went to the one on Welsley. If only they had them in Portland....

I picked up four Blu Ray movies, averaging just a little under $12 a piece after tax and shipping. I got:

Watchman - $9.64
The Matrix - $10.43
Cloverfield - $8.98
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe - $8.98

The shipping was $5.99.

It actually gave me an error message when I tried to go to the payment section while checking out. I ended up closing and reopening it and it worked just fine. Thanks OP!

I ordered from them. Got all my orders in good time. Different times tho. They come from different stores.

Mine came in complete/excellent condition. They stand behind there used products from what I understand.
Anyone ever order anything from this site? Couldn't find them on resellerratings.
I did. It's a good site.

1) "Used" items are things that were traded in to their stores. "Previously Viewed" items are movies or games that they used for rentals in stores and they are putting up for sale. In my experience the Used movies and games are the better choice with generally more complete packaging and less wear-and-tear.

2) Hastings is always weird about pricing so I wouldn't worry about it if the UPC is matching up. It's not unusual for them to have a new copy of a movie for half the price they are charging for the used copy. From what I understand their pricing is based on supply, so the more copies of something they have, generally the lower the price will drop.

During their last sale, I ordered 4 blu rays that all came in immaculate condition. You wouldn't be able to tell they were used at all. I did get one DVD that wasn't in its original case, but it was mint and had the original insert and cover art.

Ordered:
The Dark Knight $6.10
Ghostbusters $6.62
Baraka $9.30
Kill Bill Vol. 2 $9.87

Merchandise: $31.89 Shipping: $5.99 Sales Tax: $2.92 Order Total: $40.80

Thanks for clearing that up. I did notice Devil's Rejects was considerably cheaper new than the used copy. But both are still more than Walmart.

This sale stinks! Almost everything is out of stock. I went to their store, and all used blu rays were $19.99, even ex rentals. Much higher prices than the website. I hate Hastings.

i was able to find 7 movies for 53.xx shipped (no tax) is always nice too!! Good deal IMO.

How do you get the 30% off? I added several used blu-rays to my cart but I don't see the discount even when I go to order them. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
^ The prices you see are already 30% off .
Damn, Dark Knight went OOS as I was trying to check out :(.
I got mine a couple weeks ago for like 8 bucks!
Damn. EVERYTHING'S out of stock now. Any idea how long this runs/until they restock? Would love to pick up some Blu's on the cheap...
Yeah pretty much anything worth picking up is OOS.
Got everything I wanted except Serenity. Great deal. They seem to be shipping everything out piecemeal, though. Not sure why.
They don't have any central warehouse so they have to ship products from the individual stores they're found at.

Not trying to rub it in your face, but I picked up The Dark Knight for $6.10. I wasn't even looking for it, but it popped up in the recommended and I saw the low price I had to take advantage.
Another impulse buy for me was Coraline for $11.54.

They jacked the prices way up now that everythings back in stock.

Still a few good deals, but not great anymore

I bought National Lampoons Christmas Vacation for $9.09 and it was $12.xx yesterday so they did't raise all the prices

My Hellboy 2 came in already, came with everything in new condition basically, including the slipcover and all that. Really great service from Hastings again.

Literally every single one of the 20+ titles I've picked up have been from Amarillo, TX. They're all individually packaged no matter how many you order and most all of mine have been in great condition. The only lame thing has been the 3-D titles like My Bloody Valentine and Journey to the Center of the Earth didn't come with any 3-D glasses.

One of my movies got cancelled, but the other 3 arrived today in perfect condition. 2/2 now with great gohastings orders!

Got the Incredible Hulk today. Everything is PERFECT. It even came with the "3D" slipcover...that was worn a bit, but nothing more than what would happen over time.

I was curious about this when I picked up Caroline. I figured for that price, it was worth the gamble of having to use my own glasses without the movie logo on them.

I don't think I am ever going to buy a new Blu-ray!
I keep getting awesome BRs from Hastings....used prices, new condition!
The Incredible Hulk - Like New
The Dark Knight - Like New
Iron Man - Wrapped up in a Hastings Shrink Wrap bag - Like New
Pirates - Curse of the Black Pearl - Wrapped in Shrink Wrap - SECURITY STICKER INTACT...this was BRAND NEW, labelled as Used!!!!!!!

The 3-D blu-ray releases thus far all use Magenta/Green glasses instead of the traditional blue/red ones everyone probably has lying around. Most everywhere I've found to get them only has a minimum order of $10, so you're going to be getting 25 or more pairs of glasses if your copy doesn't come with them.

Bugger, that's right. Look at me living in the past – the glory days of Blue/Red.
Halloween is right around the corner. I bet it would be easy to find tinted acetate or plastic sheets… This is a good enough excuse for me to visit the party store. YAY!

Got 3 of my 4 blurays and all were in brand new condition, disc looked like new. Included all inserts and digital copies etc.

I only received one of my three movies (first time I've ordered with them) so far, Fast & Furious. Discs are pristine, the clip cover was beat up and there was a small hole in the case that actually punctured the artwork. Minor stuff, I s'pose..considering this was 11.00 with shipping.
Now to wait for my 6.xx titles, Friday the 13th and My Bloody Valentine....

Something amazing happened to me today!

So I head out to the party/craft stores to see what I can find to make some homemade 3D glasses, and take a quick detour to Costco to see if they have the TV I'm waiting for. I parked next to a shopping cart corral and I see two pairs of glasses from the Monsters & Aliens movie right there! What luck!

It was raining so they need to dry off, but they're still usable. I'd still like to make my own pair with plastic frames, but now I don't have to be in such a rush.

And to top it off, when I get back I see I have a message that Coraline has shipped, on a Sunday?

Enough gloating

Well I finally received a movie from them that wasn't in good condition. Zack and Miri make a porno is absolutely wrecked. Not only is the case and cover art destroyed but the disc is scratched to high hell.

Sorry to here that Exileinoblvion.

I must have really lucked out then. I've recieved three out of my four disks and they've been great. Cloverfield and the Matrix have been in really good condition and the first Chronicles of Narnia was actually brand new in shrink wrap. Here's hoping the Watchmen will be in good shape as well...

You should be able to return it if you email them

Ya, I ordered 5 from them last time they ran this sale and 5 more this time. All the discs have been in great shape except for this one and well Pineapple Express was a little beat up but not like this. I'm gonna start being more hesitant to order Seth Rogan films, it seems like fans of his movies tend to not care about their blu-rays so much.
