I like X-Com. No, I love X-Com. I've loved it since I first played it... wow, July 2000. It was a little hard for my then-ten-year-old self, but fuck me if it wasn't addictive.

So I've been meaning to start playing it again. For like, the billionth time. But I wanted to improve things a bit. So I downloaded Xcomutil. This, among other things, remembers what weapons each soldier uses, lets captured aliens contribute to research, fixes the bug that lowers the difficulty level after the first mission, etc.

Buuuuut... no go with this bullshit 64-bit version of Windows. Seriously, fuck this thing. Nothing but a god damn headache, this thing. I'd still be using Windows fucking 98 if that was an option. I certainly do what I can to make everything on here look like I'm still using Windows 98.

But since I ain't about to go switching over to Windows 98, can anyone help me out here? I mean, I'll play the damn game regardless, but having Xcomutil going would be pretty fuckin' bitchin'.

That's now how you spell "I want Charles Cockwin inside me."
