Dragon Age Inquisition and Far Cry 4 came out of the box with no problems are are great games, but not a lot of mentions because people didn't find anything to complain about.

Uh... not in my experience. Dragon Age was, and still is quite buggy. I think most people give it a pass because of how huge it is. I had my game character's voice change permanently about 20 hours in. I captured a video of some random NPC just wandering in and out of the side of some rock wall geometry. I've had two hard crashes back to the xbox one home screen.

 
I have fallen through the world 4 times in 5 hours played in FC4. They are good games but certainly not without the 2014 added features of half functioning code.
 
The difference with those is that those two games were good enough despite those bugs where a lot of the other stuff that's disappointed people have been bug riddled messes and mediocre at best games.

I second that. I barely touched the main story missions because I want to unlock all of the attributes; finish the survival side quests, and find the artifacts etc. I think it's cool how they place vendetta missions on your map if one of your friends were killed by a certain captain or leader.I put about a good 11 hours into the game and I'm hovering around 32-40% completed. I can easily see myself getting the 100% in this game.

Strangest thing though, I ran into a captain that was a combat master and I couldn't kill him. Sneaking up on him didn't work; countering didn't work, special moves didn't work, ranged attacks didn't work, and death from above didn't working. After trying to kill him for 20-30 minutes, I just ran away. Later on I go into the Sauron's Army screen to check out his weakness, and he doesn't show up at all...Maybe I'll run into this God-like Captain again, lol.

Even better. I was able to get in on the Microsoft store glitch with Kinect Sports Rivals and picked up Halo:MCC. Traded in KSR so I paid like $7 for it, so I don't mind waiting for it to get fixed. I'll play the online MP from time to time, but I really want to go through all of the campaigns. Never finished Halo 4 though.

Breaking news: Santa CAG has been spotted in eastern Pennsylvania. After leaving a Sears clearance sale he was nearly cited for obscenity due to a bumper sticker that reads "F@!# OMAN." Fortunately the officer felt that it was unwise to approach a pack of reindeer that were hopped up on Mountain Dew.

 
So anything in particular you guys are hoping for?

For X1, I'd love for a sale on gtav, D4, FC4, outlast and maybe some of the smaller indie games like 1001 spikes, 60 second shooter and stick it to the man. And pretty much any dlc.

I honestly can't think of anything I really want on 360. Maybe a few random titles I already own, just not digitally, like shadows of the damned and vanquish. I'd buy any Sherlock holmes game if they ever went on sale, just because I want to try it. WWE Allstars would be pretty fun too I think.

Depends on how you look at it. Yes, there are some games that are being put out "unfinished", (glitches, server issues, on-disc DLC). There's also weekly Live issues, (friends list, party chat, purchased content, DDOS asshats).

But, just how much things load quicker and the more fluid controls on the One versus the 360, makes it tough to go back to the 360.

This is so true. I've had my X1 for 3 weeks now and have only gone back to my 360 for saints row 4. Pretty soon I won't even be doing that anymore.


Some more discounts popping up on xbldb. Titanfall for $12.50, lego hobbit for $10, max for $5, naruto for $25, PES and another transformer game.

Edit- Didn't even notice thief for $12 and dark douls 2 for $20. Also cod: ghosts and bf4. Now where are the x1 sales?!

yeah i can't imagine going back to a 360/ps3, my ps3 hasn't been turned on a single time this year.  the next gen games are just so much better visually and controls wise, and we have long since passed the point where you won't have enough stuff to do.  The only exception I would concede is JRPGs, there are still virtually none on next gen but I don't play them so don't really know much about it.

between the forza's, gta5, DA3, ac4/5, diablo 3, far cry 4 (my only platinum'd game!), sleeping dogs and tomb raider DE, and all the indies that is hundreds and hundreds of hours.  Heck I'm still playing Destiny because I bought it digitally, its got a ton of flaws but the gunplay is fun.

 
There is literally nothing that I need. I'm gonna buy the SO SP, anyway, so a sale would be great, but not necessary.

I'd consider NHL on the X1 if it were $25 or so, but I doubt it'll hit that.

I've been playing SO non-stop since I got it three days ago. It's a blast. I'll def pick up the season pass as well so a sale on that would be excellent.

Shank. I bought Shank 2 months (years?) ago when it was last on sale yet the first game has been untouched.

I made a post long ago with a list of games I wanted to get, but the only ones that come to mind right away are:

Call of Duty Classic (demo was more more than my experience with the PS2 version)

Arkanoid ($10 now, but I'd like to see it at $5)

Lococycle (same reason as above)

DLC for various games (Toy Soldiers, Dead Block, and so much more)

I'd get lococycle if it went on sale, for sure. I enjoyed the demo and don't really understand all the low ratings.
 
Deadblock DLC was on sale last year?  2 years ago?  I grabbed it.  Love that game.

I'd still like to see Civilization Revolution put their DLC on sale as it just seems a little too high.

Another sale on Scrap metal would be nice.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and the season pass for Bioshock Infinite to go on sale for cheap.  Not much stuff left for me on 360 and I haven't had the cash or desire to jump into this generation yet.

I'm tempted to buy it to play with my friend who only has a 360. Does anyone know how big the GoD install size is? I don't know how I'll make room for it. I might wait for the disc version to hit this price point.

I absolutely loved DD:DA and put a ton of time into it. Then something happened to my game save and it reverted me back so far, I lost a ton of time, xp and gear I spent hours upgrading. I just can't bring myself to go back to it and start over. I'm pretty sure mine was an isolated case so don't let that deter you. It's a great game.
 
For me, all I really want is a nice deep cut on Styx and Pier Solar HD. If either went 50% off, it'd be an instant purchase for me. Its all about the X1 now.

I'd love to see some "season passes" go on sale.  Sunset Overdrive, Borderlands Pre-Sequel and Destiny... I really dream big.

This may help:

The multiplayer is still active in games of Attrition (kill the other team to reach the score) and the 'Campaign Missions' (which are just multiplayer matches that have a slight story introduction and ending depending on which team wins), but most of the other playlists are very low in population. Attrition has over 500 players each night, but playlists like Capture the Flag, Pilot Hunter, Last Titan Standing and the remaining are very under populated. They usually have 10-50 people playing them, so while you may find games, it's a risk of running into dominant teams that may ruin your experience. These numbers are from just this weekend, so I expect them to be lower during the week.

Frontier Defense, basically a Horde/Zombies/Fire Fight-esque mode, was just added to the 360 version, and there are usually 200-300 people playing it (though that may be because it was just released). Basically, if you're buying it to play with friends you may have a good time, but it you're buying it to play the online it may be late to get into it now, as the population is reducing. You can still find games, just not every playlist is populated.

I'd ask if people want to play together from this site, but I feel like most people here have it on the Xbox One. It's a shame it cannot be played cross console.
