if memory serves me correctly, the better of the older Pacman "adventureish" games were side scroller/topdown games (on PS1/GC). The one on sale now for 360 is more like a 3d platformer akin to Super mario 64 style (with a just as bad camera). But im thinking of biting on it myself. i LOVED the older PS1 games. This one is more or less based on the TV shows they've had/have.

Looks like I will skip valiant hearts on the x1. If it was same price as 360 instant buy. Hate that crap it's same company should be same price.

no I was referring to pacman world the 3d platformer series which started on ps1. may grab this then

Playin Halo reach sure brings back memories but good god i hate that sprinting isnt a normal move like

i didnt expect it to annoy me so much and i forgot how fuckin expensive all the helmets and accessories are -__-

still fun though

 
I thought there used to be deals for non gold members every week as well. Did they kill that off or does it just occur randomly?

I'm trying to clean out some space for Reach right now. Between BF4 and Destiny, they take up almost 13GB. Not to mention a couple more disc game installs and some GoDs that I don't want to delete, I'm stuck with 4.5GB now :p

Eh, ya ain't missin nothin. All I want to do is race a car and they spend 20 minutes jerking themselves off with their stupid story. I was really disappointed by the demo.
 
I'm thinking the disparity in price for Valiant Hearts for 360 and X1 is because of achievement points. One is worth 1000 points, the other only 400.

Sweet, finally grabbed Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It's quite a fun Super Mario 64-type game. Gotta get ready for part 2, which comes out soon.

But the game itself is great. Like, the best racing game I've played great. Not that I play a ton of them.

NO! I was hoping it was a little more "arcadey" but it's not. Sure, it looks amazing, but I've come to the realization that I don't want realistic racers. I want kart racers and there aren't enough of them.

I might have break down and get a WiiU (oh lord I swore off Nintendo) or dig out my copy of Sonic Racing (the first one, cuz its better than the 2nd).

 
Got metro 2033 for 5 bucks. Never played this one but really enjoyed last light. How's that pacman game? for some reason It's tempting.

If only some other company would pick up Blur and make a sequel. That game was really fun.
 
Is there a visual difference between Valiant Hearts on the 360 vs X1? I'm a brand-new X1 owner so I'm leaning toward that version but I'm curious if it's worth the extra price.

Probably less loading. I'd buy X1 version over 360 if you like to make clips/stream and want more Gamerscore.

I got PacMan from redbox when they had that week of free game rentals. Took that crappy game back before I even got a single achievement, that's how long I spent with it. Just check my Gamerscore and you'll see I'm not one to pass up easy, fun gamerpoints. However that game was a waste of my time. Though it was free, I still feel ripped off.

 
Ghostly Adventures looks OK enough on one hand and some people here say they enjoyed it for what it is but then I watch this and don't think I can bring myself to do it even at $5:

I watched that video on date night when the game went on sale, and ill do anything that CGR Undertow tells me to do. i Trust their opinions.

My sister got a 360 back in June and does not have Gold, but she does have a 30 day Gold card that came with the system. Will that be good enough to take part in the Gold deals and get Halo Reach? I know she'd enjoy Tales and Eternal Sonata. Or does she need a full on subscription to Gold?

Yes, 30 days is good for a Gold sale and GWG. That's the minimum subscription time that works with them. She should be able to get both GWG next month too.

I was going to get Valiant Hearts but it's only been out less than 3 months, I get the feeling if a big discount like that happens this early that an even bigger one will come by the end of the year. 

 
So just to confirm if I buy the Destiny expansion pass for 360 then once I redeem on my 360 it will automatically allow me to download on xbox one for free? I don't have destiny on 360 just disc version on one

Correct. All content, (base game, expansion pass, and DLC packs), purchased digitally on the 360 will unlock on the One.
 
Off topic: Can anyone tell me how important it is to play Bioshock 1 to understand Infinite? I understand Infinite is a prequel (I think) but does the story tie in a lot with the first two. 

I have tried so hard to play through Bioshock 1, I made it to
the Andrew Ryan beatdown
but I cannot just do it anymore. The controllers feel so sluggish and it's becoming impossible to be able to switch between Plasmids and weapons fast enough to kill anything.

Hardly necessary. It helps, and there are references to it in Infinite, but the story is independent for the most part. The Burial at Sea DLC might be less enjoyable, though.

Also, I played through Bioshock on easy because I just wanted to know the story. Saved myself a lot of time and undue stress.
 
D4 is coming out tomorrow. It costs $14.99 and includes Prologue, EP 1 and EP2. Remember you can play with Kinect or controller.
