Yeah kinda in the same situation here...would be nice if they drop the Gears Judgment Pass instead of Gears 3 over and over again hum..also still would love more dlc sales in general.

 
Welp, I ended up getting Lords of the Fallen, Costume Quest 2 (had a lot of fun with that on 360), Sniper Elite 3, Trials Fusion (have it physical but prefer a game like that to be digital), and for the kids I got Fantasia, Kinect Sports Rivals and Angry Birds.

There are a lot of great deals for 360 too but I think I have everything I want for that.


So I started downloading lords of the fallen, but my x1 keeps pausing it and downloading angry birds instead. What gives?


One other thing, I played the demo for How to Survive and kept getting owned on the first quest where I have to find some campground or something. Am I doing something wrong? I crafted a bow and arrows to kill those fat exploding zombies, but that part where they all rush you - can't beat it.

Help me please?

I enjoyed playing it; the gameplay is decent and the art is pretty cool. I think it is fairly easy to get all of the achievements too.

I keep praying for the Defiance season pass to go on sale, or the Borderlands 2 season pass, but yeah, same thinking here too ;-)

Thanks. Yea, I was looking over the achievement list too and it looks like creative achievements that get you to do interesting things in the game and no grinding/difficulty achievements so I'll pick it up. Seems like the kind of game that I could run through in a single day.

Is the consensus that Lords of the Fallen is worth $10.
 
is the deal live only on the one console?  looking at stuff like lord of the fallen and MCC on website and its still full MSRP

Lords of the Fallen is kind of like Dark Souls but meant to be more accessible. If you want something like that then yeah. Great price since its held pretty solid at retail.

I think so yea, I wasn't going to pay more than $15 for it but $9 is really good and should be bought if you haven't played it yet. Probably won't get better than that for a long long time.

Felt more linear than Dark Souls. If you get lost, it can take you a long time to get back to where you are supposed to go. Whereas in Dark Souls, pretty much everywhere is the right way. Probably worth $10-$15.
 
forza 5 is $30 pretty good deal, i enjoy F5 and FH2 a lot and its fun to play a few hours a week, especially as a Top Gear fan you get to hear the 3 guys talk about the cars and tracks.

I also jumped on LOTF for $9 why not, will grab Halo MCC when it discounts down its 4 or 5 games for $2x even if its still broken MP wise thats still a lot of SP gaming to do over the summer.  Don't see a lot else that interests me, Walking Dead or the Telltale pack are decent but I've got bits and pieces of it on steam already.

You're not missing much in that season pass, although if you do actually like Judgment then it makes it a complete game rather than a stripped out game. Worst season pass I ever bought.

Considering Defiance is FTP I doubt there will be much of a sale on the season pass unless it is a last ditch effort to garner support if the game wasn't getting enough players to keep supporting. You never know though. BL2, though should be a guarantee to happen every two months. Has that not gotten a sale yet?

Forza 5 for $30? It hit 25 around BF at a few stores and I would think it will again sooner than later. Considering the move to the One tripped it up in several developmental aspects, it isn't as good as 4. Can't even transfer designs from 5 to FH2 :(

As far as I know, BL2 season pass has never been on sale, just individual dlc's. Defiance season pass has never been on sale either, but since the dlc is so bare bones and only unlocks things already in the game I'd never pay $40 for it. $20 yes, $40 heck no.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing about Halo 4. I loved stick of truth but I'm holding out on buying it until it goes under $10.

The Borderlands 2 Season Pass has been on sale a number of times. It was 50% off twice last year.

Great to see tiered sales, it (hopefully) makes Gold worth it for some buyers. I have to admit, there's some good stuff on sale, now I just need to know if all those are the week or if we'll have daily deals as well.

 
And on a completely unrelated note I just got my 1 Month free code for having played Halo the MCC.  I think I played it for at most 5 minutes before I flipped it.  I'll actually give it a shot for $24 since I have $124 expiring in June.

I liked it. I beat it twice. Mind you I played Devil May Cry 3 AFTER playing 4. As a stand alone hack and slash it's quite decent. I'm going to purchase the PS4 version once it's available.

If you LOVE Devil May Cry 3 then you may not like 4. It's like two different worlds, they are not consistent - DMC 4 doesn't seem like a sequel at all but an off-shoot.

Ok, looks like the last time it was on sale was early September, I guess that was before I got the game. Still, six months is a long time, hopefully it's due to be on sale again soon.

It's not a bad game at all really. It's fun if you don't mind playing it twice. Capcom got pretty lazy with things and you basically play through the game normally at first with one character and then those levels in reverse with another. Heard there's going to be a Xbox One/PS4 remaster of it released sometime this year.

There's some good stuff in this week's sales, but it's mostly stuff I already own: Garden Warfare, Gears of War 3, Tomb Raider Underworld, State of Decay, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Saints Row 3, Injustice, Mass Effect, The Orange Box, Arkham City, Dead Island Riptide. All worth checking out.

Stick of Truth is very tempting at $17.99. I've heard nothing but good things from it so I may cave in. Thoughts?

Also, any thoughts on the Battlestations games and Supreme Commander 2? I've never heard of them.
