I don't think Sam Shodown 2 has EVER been on sale, and if it has it hasn't been for a VERY long time.

Heard the netcode wasn't that great tho.

 
Interesting, the whole "Deals of the week is now deals with gold" thing. I've been waiting on a sale for BF3 premium FOREVER. Damn shame I just sold my copy like a week ago lol. Guess I'll just grab BFBC Vietnam if the price is right.

I wonder if Deals with gold means they're going to be updating later every week now.

 
It's been a loooong time since I played Sam Sho2 online but I don't remember the netcode being that bad; Sam Sho2 is slow and kinda sluggish offline so dealing with lag didn't really bother me. That was over 5 years ago though and I've since migrated to GGPO for Sam Sho 2 so I'm sure I'd think differently now.

Never. I would have bought it. I think the netcode is similar to Fatal Fury Special. If it is then you'll need to have a ping less than 150 to have a good game. When it got to 200 there was a delay in your buttons registering.

I hope those are US sales as well. Garou and NeoGeo Battle Coliseum have also never been on sale. I'd buy them too.

These are some of the last digital content I want to buy. There is almost no need for me to check for sales anymore. Digital-only, the last thing I can think of to buy is The Doctor Who Cloned Me dlc for Duke Nukem Forever.

Oh, I'll probably get Gat Out of Hell for the Xbox 360. Since I have Saints Row IV on the 360 I'll be able to use my Boss character at no extra cost. I'd have to buy Saints Row IV again to see my Boss in the PS4 version.

Oooh interesting. Garou MotW brings back a lot of warm fuzzy memories. I may grab that one if this is indeed the sale. I am sure none of those games aged gracefully, but what the hell......

Anyone got the prices for the SNK games? They're showing up as pretty high for me, since I don't have Gold at the moment.

 
It looks like it's an Ubisoft sale in addition to the DOTW sales. There's still a chance the SNK games will be part of the DOTW. Skate is an EA game, and the other games part of the AUS sale are EA games.

 
This is one of those wacky times when the games seem to be cheaper in Australia than in the USA. Both Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Splinter Cell: Double Agent are showing up for under $4 (which is probably like $3.50 USD what with the poor Aussie dollar at the moment). Shame that I already own both titles :whistle2:(

Just went through most of the non-recent releases. Didn't see any games marked down. The BF4 Recon Shortcut Kit has the same discount as the 360. None of the other BF4 DLC is currently marked down, and I didn't dig through the other XB1 DLCs. Someone on GameFAQs mentioned Outlast and DR3 were showing up at half off on the console, but I can't check on that.

 
Far cry 3 at $10 is very tempting. But I'm only a few trophies away from a platinum on it on the PS3 so i guess i'll wait on the ps3 version to go on sale. If you haven't played FC3 it is really good and for $10 it's a good deal.

CALLED IT !!! First time I actually guessed correctly. Far Classic was a lot of fun so I hope the sequels are on par or better. Looks like an instant purchase unless something else comes up.

Libertaion is ok. definitely worth $5 if you like AC games

Liberation is a XBLA game so download the trial and see if you like it. I haven't played it either but I've heard the controls are weird since it's a straight port from a handheld.

 
Perhaps a silly question but would someone who's played through the AssCreed series chime in and let me know if it's okay for me to start AssCreed Liberation even though I haven't finished AssCreed 3 (truth be told I still haven't finished AssCreed Brotherhood).

 
Ok...I think something is up with AC Liberation. It shows up as $4.99 in the marketplace on my 360 to purchase, but when you click on it to finalize the purchase it's still showing up as $19.99.

Something weird is going on with the market place. I just redeemed a 1 month gold pass and went to get buy some stuff on my pc. It tried to charge me For Halo reach which is supposed to be free with games with gold. Then when I went to get the mass effect 3 dlc it tried to charge me full price for those as well instead of the 50% gold discount.

But when I went to try those on my xbox 360 they all worked they way they where supposed to

Probably hasn't fully updated. Give it a few hours and it'll likely get sorted. That's probably why I can't see it at that price. It might only be showing up on the console marketplace at the moment. They seem to update differently.
