Liberation HD price still hasn't changed despite Major Nelson posting it. Only one thing to do...go on his blog and Twitter and make allegations of his sexuality and the promiscuity of his mother until he changes it personally.

 
What time does GWG free games go live normally? I want to redeem my Live Gold code during the gap when both old and new month games are available.

 
And just a heads up, Persona 4 Arena: Ultimax DLC character Adachi seems to have just been added to the marketplace alongside Marie who has been there for a few hours now. Also the characters are free only for this week only so...yeah, I don't got anything else to explain. They also have achievements tied with them.

KOF Sky Stage and Fatal Fury are both showing up under $5. Also it looks like the Battlefield BC2 DLC sale has gone live as a bunch of 50% of sales are live for me.

Any recommendations on Sky Stage and the Metal Slug games?

Earlier this year Radiant Silvergun was on sale for one day. I think it was only meant to be on sale in the Japan marketplace. This KOF Sky Stage sale might be a similar mistake. I'll be keeping an eye out on the fighters I want, and I'll buy them as soon as there is a sale price. Then watch them switch from 50% off to 75% off by tomorrow morning.

Fatal Fury Special is regularly $5.00. Right now King of Fighters XIII is $15.00; I don't know if that is the normal price.

Different in that they thought it would be a great idea to not let you play as the main character for at least the first five hours or so to go all in on Connor's epic tale.

 
I'm tempted by AC brotherhood but that seems like a highly likely GWG choice

Please watch this video if you've never played Bad Company 2 before.  It will help educate you for the multiplayer.  Watch it twice if you feel confused after the first time.

If you've never played a Battlefield game ever, it can be overwhelming.  Just know that the game lets you do things you've always wanted to do, like run over trees with tanks or knock them down with explosives, blow away walls and collapse houses with more explosions, and use vehicles covered with C4 as kamikaze death machines.

Definitely play it with friends if you have them.  If not, ask for help. 

Also, don't forget that you unlock the M1 Garand for having played any previous Battlefield games.  If you've never played any of them, and really want the exclusive Garand, just play the free demo for Battlefield 1943.  It gives you a set amount of time to play the game online for free, which should associate it with your Battlefield profile, giving you the gun. 

And don't forget to download the free VIP Pass for the game.

I'm not sure about brotherhood being a GWG since AC2 already was one. Do you think they'd go back to the same franchise?

AC4 was a fun pirate game but that's about it. Not much of an AC game.

The only Battlefield I've played is Battlefield: Bad Company. I played through it about 4 years ago and enjoyed it, so this is the perfect GwG pick for me. :)

 
Metal Slug XX is now $7.50. Metal Slug 3 is still $10 on the website, but it's showing up as $5 on my console. I haven't tried buying either, but I did get NeoGeo for $5.

Garou and Samurai Shodown II are still $10 on the website and the console.

 
The problem with battfield is newbies are going to get slaughtered by helicopters. If you are just starting and some prick is helicopter spawn killing it kinda takes away from the fun of the multi player. Respawn get killed respawn get killed......respawn run two feet....get killed. The mutliplayer has a learning curve but is very fun once you get off a map with helicopters.

Chariot is already free on the XB1 right now, not sure about the 360 game. Addicted to SoM right now, so I can't check

edit- XB1 usually games usually go free about 7:00 est the day before, the 360 games sometimes don't go up until the morning

No sale on BC2 Spec-Act, I know they're already cheap but... meh

And the game isn't free yet, but atleast I already own it on disc. It's a great game if you like FPS, IMHO it's the best Battlefield in the series and the 3rd best FPS multiplayer on the 360 (1st is COD4, 2nd is Halo 3).

Was thinking about this one because of the historical period/locations it's set in. That and the George Washington dlc looked interesting. After watching the Angry Joe youtube review though I'm leaning more towards passing on it again.

the best assassin's creed game.. hands down... is Shadow of Mordor, lol... i never got into AC, and i tried hard on 3 and 4... and 4 was my favorite and never even finished it,... the controls were just... idk i just didn't like them.. but holy fuck Shadow of Mordor is damn good! i wouldn't be surprised at all if it won a bunch of Game of the Year awards, to me, it's that good!

i only mention AC because uhh, the gameplay is very similar to those games.... but way better in everyway possible, even story. (and i love pirates and colonial times just as much as tolkien stuff)

I downloaded, but the chevos seems not be uploaded to xbox live servers yet, i unlocked 4 of them but on my profile still i see 54 of 55, instead of 58 of 65

Maybe they're asking because they could buy an individual SPECACT pack for $1.99 to have it qualify for the $2.00 return with Xbox Live Rewards. It's a potential option if you have rewards points built up close to 5000 points and want a deposit sooner.

While SPECACT isn't on sale, there is a SPECACT bundle that does save you a few bucks. It might be a good idea to put that in the first post when it's updated, so that people don't buy them individually and spend more than they need to.

 
Shadowrun is in my top 5 fav MP games of all time on 360. Its cross-platform with pc also, so should be a decent amount of people playing still. Thanks for the heads up!!!

Oh hey look Assassins Creed Liberation is still trying to charge $20!

And Shadowrun was actually really fun, it was a unique twist on basic FPS games.

Well, I hope we still get BC2. Was hyped to play it. But I take Shadowrun for free, which is the same price I got it for on PC years ago and never played it on. Can't wait to not play it on 360 as well.

EDIT: Aaaand it's free. I wake up and it's 2 free games. Thank you based MS.
