Thinking of double dipping on Borderlands 1 and 2. Thinking of getting Bulletstorm, GoW 3 (since I have the digital for 1 and 2), HItman HD,

and KoA. I think it's time these were GwG especially Borderlands.

 
So how many of you guys use an external HDD? I'm on the fence on getting one. I've used 87% of my HDD and have several games unplayed. On one hand it'd be nice to have them all together, on another hand though I'll be installing games I probably won't touch for awhile and I could just redownload them whenever I'm ready to play. I just don't wanna spend the money to have to do it. Argh

Typically, any promotional credit expires 1 year from when you redeemed it. Currency you buy shouldn't ever expire, the only exception being MS Points that were converted to regular credit last year. Whenever you buy something, the credit with the soonest expiration date always gets used first.

Anyway, you can go to commerce.microsoft.com, login with your MS account, click "Payment Options" at the top, and then click "Microsoft account" from the list of payment options on the left. It will list all of your account credit along with any applicable expiration dates.

Here's a link directly to the Payment Options page:

  1. Log in to live.xbox.com.  Choose "My Account"
  2. Select "See all transactions at Commerce.Microsoft.com"
  3. Go to "Payment & Billing", then "Payment Options", then click on "Microsoft account".  Expiration dates will show on the right pane.

For me, an external HD was a no-brainer. I have a decent internet connection (20mbps), but that still takes a while for the larger games to download. I just don't want to deal with re-downloading games if I don't have to. There have been plenty of deals on 2tb portable drives from Newegg and elsewhere the past week, and I'm sure there will be more.

Thank you guys this is much appreciated, just checked and I am good through August with promo credit! And glad to know it uses it up first so my other credit will be untouched until I use this up.

Hopefully the Major will let us know which ones are daily/weekly. Would have bought mirror's edge but it's 4€, double the us price.

Anyway, you can go to commerce.microsoft.com, login with your MS account, click "Payment Options" at the top, and then click "Microsoft account" from the list of payment options on the left. It will list all of your account credit along with any applicable expiration dates.

Wow thanks man. I have $80 in credit that expires 6/15. I didn't think these would ever expire.
 
I just bought Diablo III from best buy, do I wait till Friday for it to show to play it, or buy it now for 5$ more? Decisions decisions.

Might also get Skyrim even though I've already 1000/10000 it. And just wait on the DLC to go on sale.

I don't even have Titanfall but I'm considering getting the season pass for that price.

Someone sell me on the Killer Instinct Ultra Pack as opposed to the Combo Breaker from Best Buy for $12 after GCU or as opposed to skipping it all together.

You get an extra set of costumes for each character and the original KI game. If you don't care about that stuff get the one BBY has.

 
I managed to grab this screen shot a few mins after the black friday page went up. Of course in 2 mins they changed to URL of the page and then when it went up again, the supposed to be secret week end deals were taken off.
