I've been saying this for quite a while. I've been burned on several gwg buying on sale right before they go free. I really wish they would have a system set up where you select something from a list of games, dlc, or even avatar items. I mean i'd rather have a free avatar item than nothing.

Same here. After the annoying tactic of putting games on sale and then they become GWG soon after I've been holding back on buying things unless they are really cheap so that if they do go free it doesn't sting as much.

I just wish that they would put DLC on sale when games go on sale. I'm looking at you Pigsy. :shame:

Burnout Paradise fucks Forza Horizon... in the ass... twice. So yeah, pick it up. It's a no-brainer at that price. It already worths it only for the coop challenges for up to 8 players. Lots of fun.

Yep. As other users have noted, if you get used to the controls, you are gonna have an awesome experience. This game as for today is unique, you won't find another like it. Again this price is a joke. But be aware of the motion sickness, if you have suffered in the demo it will only get worse. Personally i would pay for playing this with a VR set. :razz:

..... I also hate Prince of Persia.

Finished the Mirror's Edge demo and my feelings haven't changed. Looks great, sounds nice, but the controls are too picky and precise for me to enjoy it. It's almost like a speedrun game with cutscenes thrown in disguised as a first person shooter.

Last time I enjoyed a game where I died multiple times until I figured out how to get somewhere was Spelunky.

It depends on what you're into, really. Paradise is fun in a time wasting, arcadey kinda way when you just wanna drive off a ramp at 200 miles an hour and wreck the shit out of your car. I can't think of how to describe Horizon at the moment but it also is very good in certain aspects.

You already did: generic :roll: Since Paradise left you a clear impression and Horizon, well, not so much. But fair enough I also enjoyed FH, it just lost fuel once all races are golden and didn't like too much the online bit. I neither liked the rally abduction, lame move.

I've already cashed in $6 in Live credit from Bing, and I'm working on my next $5 reward. Bing is a terrible search engine, but I like the fact that they will give you points for doing random nonsensical searches.

And the 360 Black Friday Week sale has left me with only 80 gb left on my 250 gb hard drive, and I haven't even downloaded all the games I bought yet. Damn you, Microsoft, with your reasonably priced downloads of games that I'm actually looking forward to playing!

Ill have to say paradise. Like before, I dumped tons of hours into that game and fh/fh2 was nowhere near the hours.

Yes fh/fh2 is fun but I prefer paradise. Driving thru the city with the ghostbuster wagon...epic

Also has deleoran from back to the future :)

Got Burnout Paradise, Mirror's Edge & KoA all which I've played before. I also grabbed SCV. I thought these were only 1 day sales and we were going to get different ones every day :(

I wanna get borderlands 2 but idk it seems like it would be a GwG someday

and its weird cause i enjoyed Borderlands 1 but got bored of it though the sequel looks alot more fun

so if i liked borderlands 1 but got bored should i get 2?

ohhh and just wondering,any thoughts on the hitman HD Collection?

It's more fun with co-op buddies. I got bored of 1 too.... I made it through 2 the first time, then I was pretty bored by myself... Then my buddies got it, and it was fun again!

 
Those are great prices on 360 games. Might pick up KoA again after not even really touching it, and might get rid of my physical copy of Skate 3 to get it digitally.

Fun fact: The Raven is an episodic game like The Walking Dead. I'm curious to see what MS does with it. Probably just the first episode will be free. Maybe they'll discount the other two if we're lucky.

Yes, it's been months since there's been an X1 GwG offer I'd enjoy! X360 options are complete garbage, not going to even try to defend it like I usually do.

Yes, just the first episode will be free. We'll see how much they discount the other two. All 3 episodes were 75% off a month or two ago, so it will be interesting to see if buying them all on sale would be a better deal than GwG, haha.

I'm actually fine with these games. Worms Battlegrounds is something I've wanted, although with the fact it looks like an evolution over Worms Revolution (excuse the pun) it definitely didn't look like worthy of 25 bucks (the other game was 15$ when it came out). For free? Oh yes, played just about every Worms game so far, gladly gonna play this too for dozens of hours probably. The Raven... well, I considered buying that on sale but I ultimately didn't. Looks... okay, I guess. Good for cheezmints I suppose, we'll see what episode 2 and 3 will come to cost. And SSX: yes please. I've been kicking myself last year I think, as on a daily sale I bought Shaun White's Snowboarding or what's it called, and then later they've put SSX on sale and I was like "yeah, I already have such a game, not gonna get it". Shaun White is pretty horribly, shouldn't have bought it blindly based on the memories I've had with unrelated snowboard games on the PS1. I can finally get SSX for free? Deal. Solid month as far as I'm concerned, I was planning to buy/play all of these eventually.

That's more or less what it is. Though I wouldn't say disguised as a shooter since guns are usually the worst choice. Just like Portal isn't an FPS, the camera isn't the genre.

Good news:  I don't own any of the announced GWG games for December.

Bad news: I have no interest in any of them.

Like Slender, The Raven comes off as the kind of game that's more fun to watch others play. The demo didn't do much for me.

SSX in December makes perfect sense. I'm just not a fan of racing games in general. 

 
Probably won't even download The Raven. SSX is a blast... I played the shit out of it when it came out. I bought it a while back on one of the big sales, though.

Don't own Worms, so I'll claim it. It'll just go in the backlog, though. The GwG for X1 have sucked so far. I only even tried to play a couple of them. I still have plenty to play on X1.

 
I know that the system hasn't been around for a long time, so expecting a lot from the GWG is unreasonable, but I have been a lot more excited about the PS+ releases, which have also been Indies, than any of the GWG games.

I'm much more of a single player fan than I am of online multiplayer, so when my Live Gold subscription ends, I might switch over to EA Access as my subscription-based gaming experience. I have several months to decide that, though.

 
Anybody know if SSX was patched with anything worthwhile? I tried it when it came out and it didn't even have online like it was supposed to.
