That will work as long as you are signed into xbox live. If you are disconnected it will treat the downloaded game as a trial/demo unless you do the licence transfer.
 
same price so guess no deals bummer seems like these deals seems to be sucking now.. i remember those times when the use to have 80MSP games for BF 

 
I really want Ryse and Titanfall, but my backlog is huge and they always do those Countdown to 2015 deals where they put up one deal each day. I think I'll wait till then.

I doubt Titanfall will get any cheaper. It's great if you like online games especially mecha. Ryse I also really enjoyed much to my surprise. It also has an online co-op horde mode which I have not tried yet.

I think they said Titanfall wasn't going to be part of EA Access Vault program, but I could be wrong though.

 
In the end we didn't get a Cyber Monday sale, oh well, at least tonight is date night :D

Also, if you like Titanfall, the current season pass price is worth getting, right now.

was able to snag Just Cause 2 and Bulletstorm.

Idk why but i was not expecting Bulletstorm to look as amazing as it does graphically.

Downloaded and played last night, and boy this "game" really is that horrible. I got to that point and thought the game glitched, since my game was glitchy as hell. I figured there was no way the devs would make you walk in a completely black screen. If it was point and click only thats one thing but having to control that guy too? Wasnt until I got matches where I realized it was intentional.

If TWD is the example on how to do these games right then The raven is the example on how to do things wrong. TWD S2 Clementine may be slightly annoying & naive, but Im attached to her character from S1. This main character in the Raven? I cant tell if he's smart, a dipshit, or what? I mean character development in The raven is also really horrible.

I was a bit surprised by that as well with bulletstorm. For some reason my expectations were really low though.

Should be able to just copy over the games to new hard drive. One way to test is to take console offline after copying over to new drive and see if the games show up as full games or trials.
 
Any thoughts on Walking Dead S1 + S2 on XB1 for $24.99?  The individual season sets have been $19.99 on-disc at BB ($16 after GCU), so $25 seemed like a good deal.

 
I actually really enjoyed bulletstorm. It was mindless fun. Kicking badguys in the balls and then throwing them into a cactus was just great. I loved trying different ways to kill people. The voice acting is good and he has some funny one liners. IIf you guys havent picked it up yet it is good. Cant beat that price.

It's a good enough deal if you don't want to wait for the seasons to go on sale for like $10 each 6 months-1year from now.

I've had over $200 before in my XBL/Microsoft account, but I don't know if there's a limit.

 
I believe $1,000 is the limit but could be wrong.

Only reason this was brought up was because of the people who loaded hundreds of dollars from the $5 free credit promo from GS.

There was also the MS Store glitch about 18 months ago that allowed people to use a $10 coupon on 1200 MS Points. So effectively 2/3 off MS Points.

And the GTA 5 pre-order promotion. $20 MS gift card with pre-order, but you were able to add as many $20 cards as you wanted because of a glitch. I can't imagine the moneys that people got from that. My friend stopped at $100. Think I did $40 to see if it was true.
 
I'm about to search online for myself but just wanted to ask here, for those that uses an external hard drive for the Xbox One, do you plug it at the back?  And do you know if all the ports on the Xbox One are USB 3.0?  Thanks.

Yes, I plug it in the back (I think I use the top USB port, but it shouldn't matter). I'd imagine all on the back are USB 3.0. The side port I use for the plug and play controller cable.

 
Does anyone if it's possible to fix the stupid Play & Charge kits for the 360? I literally bought a new one this weekend and it won't charge at all. I plug it in and goes straight to green, and if I unplug it, the controller dies.

If you just bought it, can you return it for an exchange? Unless you bought from an individual, you should be able to return and exchange due to a defect.

Well we'll get the regular DwG sale in a couple hours, maybe another weekly sale for silver members if we're lucky.

And never say never! I thought I would literally never see the Tomb Raider: Legends DLC on sale and it went 67% a couple weeks back. They're really dropping out prices on older digital content to make that last extra penny before they start taking stuff down (just my opinion, no reports of taking stuff down).

I'm going to return it but I was just wondering because this is starting to be a pain now. It's the second kit in a month I had to exchange. I think I may just stick to batteries again.

That sucks. I've recently toyed around with the idea of using those really good rechargeable battery packs on Amazon. Probably better investment long term.

Try quick charge kit. You won't be able to play while it charges though, unless you have two battery packs.

You are much better off with rechargeable NiMH batteries (the low-leakage ones like Eneloops) and a standard charger. They work great in Xbox controllers and you can also use them in anything else that takes AA batteries. When the batteries die you just pop them out and swap them with the ones you hopefully have sitting in the charger.

I've been pretty lucky finding Duracell rechargeables in Target on clearance... I have a box of the high output ones for electronics. They last forever and I just keep all the spares charged and ready.
