I have talked myself down from PacMan Museum, but the pull too Catherine is strong......should I go for it. Damn it I'm not a puzzle guy, but this game has had my interest ever since XBox Magazine did an article about cool Japanese games that we can't have in America about 5 years ago.........then blamo we got cool Japanese games in America and I still haven't pulled my cheapass trigger.....is this week da week?

I'll admit to being tempted by Onigiri, somewhat after seeing potential provocative achievement backgrounds, but I'll also admit that any desire to attempt to play the game may have been killed off seeing the four different odd numbered achievements. It's one of the few reasons I haven't attempted to 100% Trouble Witches Neo.

Either Xbox Live is back up or it only affected the 360 servers (according to the xbox.com service alert).

Really wish LizardSquad would just die off at this point. They're reminding me of I think LUE back when I played CyberNations.

Yeah I've been on Xbox One for a few hours and have had several friends get online. Probably just a 360 problem.
 
I can always count on the CAG community for the latest in network status updates.  I was about to fuck  my 360 when I remembered watching War Games play out on ipviking a few days back.  Guess I'll just load up some EuroTruck Sim 2 action :rofl:

They're not? Besides, the baseline lead exposure from the occasional oral fixation with your TV isn't likely to cause too much long term damage.

 
So, I'm honestly completely underwhelmed by The Game Awards. ADR1FT and Tacoma look cool I guess, but their release seems rather far away. Human Element looks like a CGI trailer for Borderlands. No Man's Sky still looks great but it already did one year ago, now I want something more. And that's about it, probably the poorest offering the event ever had.

As for the awards, no massive complaints besides the best online given to Destiny: all the zoo of animal-named errors, the very low limit of players on a server, the terrible netcode in PvP, the lack of matchmaking in raids, etc. etc.. The game is really fun, mind you, but how does a game with so many issues get the best online? Might as well give it to Master Chief Collection then if we're awarding intentions rather than results.

You don't want matchmaking for raids, you really don't. Better to use community driven lfg sites of which there are plenty.

I personally wouldn't mind it. I've beat the raid multiple times so it's not much for me, but I can see why people want it.

 
While the awards were underwhelming, it wasn't laughably bad at least, so I'll give it that.

I think only thing I wasn't a fan of was Trey Parker winning voice actor of the year. Not saying he isn't deserving, but it almost felt like cheating with him doing those same voices all the time on tv.

So, does anyone know when do the credits pop up on Xbox Live Rewards? I spent around 200 Euros in November and I can't wait to get my hands on my 8% rebate.

That is really interesting, but I wish you had highlighted the ability to use this on the PS3 more, because I'd love to replace the crappy PS3 controller with something else. Ultimate question: Can you use a wireless Xbox 360 controller on a PS3, with the additional option to swap the bumpers with the triggers? It would be wonderful to play something like Infamous or Uncharted with Xbox trigger firing.

EDIT: Damn, I forgot about SixAxis. That presents a problem for Uncharted grenades.

I bought a Dual Shock 4 to use for my PS3 just because the triggers on the DS3 are so dire. It was like a whole new world opened up where shooters are actually playable.

Problem is that doesn't solve the issue when PS3 games opt to use the bumpers for firing, precisely because the DS3 triggers suck. So even if you have a controller with better triggers I assume you are still stuck with bumper firing, unless the game allows you to reconfigure.
