I like to collect so I can't stand digital. Convenience factor alone is not worth it. But I can totally understand what you're saying about the inherent problems the services you mentioned above will be encountering in the future. Less sales of individual games but perhaps more subscriptions

Welcome to my pain of buying Civ Rev a couple of months before it was a GwG.  Wn some, lose some. SSX is next and that is the only game I own digitally other than Civ Rev that was a GwG.

Yep. That did the trick. Totally confused now! It certainly looks interesting and fun. I'll definitely be playing it in February, at this point though I have no idea WHAT I'll be playing. But, you know, pretty colors!

Well the trailer for the game looks better than the game but just my opinion.

People REALLY need to read word by word, the game isn't going to be free, only cheaper for the launch.

BTW, does anyonw think with the last few xbox 360 updates will prevent the threat made by the lizard squad?

I think that means the game will not be free, but it will be free for Gold users while the Games With Gold tag lasts on it. After that, it should be costing money (probably 5-10 bucks though). Silver users will still have to pay for it, too.

 
Since Major Nelson has already said it'd be free in February, I have a hard time believing many people will buy it until then. It's effectively a free game that they're giving us for free. No matter - I have a ton of shit to play and the only GFG that was worth playing was Max, so I'm down with shit games for free. I just add them and then delete them. May as well start the eternal backlog early this gen.

Microsoft's 12 days of Christmas has actually been going on for a while.....for retail products (not digital).

Supposedly Saturday will bring CoD: Advanced Warfare or (or?) Destiny for $30, according to the link here.

Would love it if the Xbox Live sale would start soon, though. Not sure what they'll call it.

The daily arcade deals are fun. Hope they do it this year. They did stop doing summer of arcade. :(
 
Guys becarefull doing that. People have gotten banned for it. Id say two times doing that is about the limit id be willing to do that trick.

Tonight at 8pm Central/6 Pacific I'm streaming Sixty Second Shooter Prime and Nutjitsu for one hour. Giving away five copies of each game for Xbox One. Details:

I am to the last mission on Sunset Overdrive. That has been the funnest experience I've had in a game in a long time. I love playing a game where I laugh out loud regularly.

I'm probably going to get the season pass for it. Glad they gave that one day trial. I wouldn't have played it otherwise.
 
No one surprises about Telltale's laziness. I mean, how is possible that in this day and age they don't translate their games?

I still play it every day, it's far improved since launch. Swats back now as well and I can find full games no problem, they got the lobbies down to the right size as well (8 instead of 10), only modes that aren't up yet are H4 and H1, but they're adding them soon.
