Sega has pretty much stopped putting their games on sale, at least anywhere close to what they used to when people around on CAG would mock the frequency of their sales like they do to Atlus now.

Sony basically had to pay Sega to bring Yakuza over here (the latest edition).

Bayonetta 2 on Wii U. I'm glad Nintendo picked it up, but we all know the real reason it went multiplatform (aka Sega giving no fucks) 

Have you seen the new Sonic game on Wii U?

Nuff said.

I have no faith in Sega to do anything right.  If After Burner goes on sale before delisting I might just die of a heart attack.

I already put quite a bit of time on the Japanese version I doubt I'll want to start all over again when they release it in English. It will all depend if my friends want to play it as well.

 
Guys, don't buy Tetris Ultimate. Not yet, anyway. Again, Ubisoft and their launches. I bought it today and played like 3 hours. The game crashed on me 6 times. Achievement tracking is confusing and unprecise. Matchmaking is pretty horrible. I had an opponent in Battle mode who died several minutes before on Level 4 (I went all the way to Level 17) but the game still gave him the win. Even the intro Ubisoft video has a glitch. What the hell Ubisoft, patch this thing. The game is great otherwise but jeez will they ever release a not broken as hell game again? /rant

I grabbed it last night and was underwhelmed......I used to love Tetris, but man it's aged...

I just started the game again. It crashed while I was booting up my first online match (since I restarted the game). This is insane. The game is so much fun and hasn't got that many issues in single player (it does crash there too but seems more rare), but the multiplayer... gosh, who tests these games?

EDIT: I start the game again. I boot up battle mode, wait for an opponent. It did not crash! Yay! Let's begin, seems like a solid opponent and... 4 seconds of gameplay later, it crashed. 8th crash today. Considering getting a refund here.

Any word on Risk on X1?

I love Risk and was super stoked when Risk Factions came out regardless of how goofy it was haha This release seemed to be a ninja to me as I ahd no idea it was even coming up.

I bought the Ubisoft release of Monopoly and have been enjoying it.

I want to buy Risk, but I'm not a fan of the modernization of its aesthetic: airplanes, stuff gettin' blown up, etc.

Give me old-school cannon, horse, and small army guy pieces any day.

I still love the PS2 release of Risk. Playing against arrogant historical figures was crazy fun. Conquering the "Yellow" team was far more enjoyable when it was led by Napoleon rather than generic CPU opponent #3.

Ah, OK. Sorry for the false alarm, then. I see the Tales from the Borderlands pass has switched from a "$19.99 $14.99" price to just $14.99. Guess that Walking Dead bundle price will update later, too. A whole 10% off for buying the bundle, much better than the 1% discount for buying the Metro bundle.

Didn't see any other new markdowns on the XB1, though I didn't delve into the DLC listings.

Yeah there's really no quick way to check dlc prices, is there? I've only been keeping tabs on the sunset overdrive season pass.

I haven't really looked up achievement progress (partially as some of the achievements are grindy and will take a while anyways). However, never had the game crash for me and things seemed to be working smoothly enough.

I have had trouble with the matchmaking, but I don't know how much of that is bad netcode as opposed to the game being brand new and not enough people having bought the game yet.

On a side note, I thought that might have been you I saw in the one battle game when you disconnected.

Just opening up all their pages, if the game has them listed (Pinball Arcade doesn't have DLC / tables listed on the web site, maybe all purchases must be made within the game on the console for that one). Though the Shadows of Mordor pass doesn't have its full price struck through, which can throw another monkey wrench into checking for sales unless you go with the assumption that (nearly) everything is $xx.99 at full price.

 
I was waiting for MX vs ATV Supercross to get announced for Xbox one. But if it's on sale on 360 I'll take it.

If you want to buy something for the 360 on the web, you need to use a credit card or PayPal. There's no way to make the purchase use your available balance, you need to buy from the console for that. Been that way since they moved away from MS Points.

It really is Demo sized, but that's if you only run through the story. If you decide to play everything it has to offer, you'll get a lot of playtime with it. It really is worth &7. Don't even think about it, just do it and enjoy.
 
Some holiday stuff for Killer Instinct.  Holiday costume for Orchid (free if you purchased her), candy cane weapon (free for S1 Ultra owners), Santa beard (free for S2 Ultra owners) and reindeer antlers (free for S1 Ultra owners).  They're also available for separate purchase, but can't be unlocked or bought after 1/1.

This is a glitch with the update - you are downloading the full game with the patch. If you have the disc, uninstall and then reinstall with the disc and then apply the update.

 
Just bought Outlast. That was one I was hoping would be part of the sale. Very nice. Has anyone played it? Is it good? Probably should have asked before I bought but I'm a sucker for survival horror.

Atmosphere is amazing, but AI is predictable once you die a couple times, common in horror games. Play at night with the lights off and audio turned up, you'll have a good time.
