Black Flag was amazing. The parts in the "real" world, as always, were kind of like... "OK, let's get this over with..." The rest of the game, though??? Incredible. I liked Unity. Not as much as BF, but I did like it and it had a pretty good story.

Whatever the gameplay, Slender is most likely getting a PS4/XBox One version in the near future. So I'm not even going to bother with this version.

I Just remember playing Revelations and the Desmond portions made me hate the character so damn much (both the "narrative" of his portions and the "gameplay") that I was glad they were optional and it was one of those games that made me say "Yeah, I don't really need those achievements..."

 
Did they ever patch the bugs in liberation HD? Especially the swamp area. Like the swimming on land glitch, or the boat catapult of death?

Caved in and bought saints row 4 & spartan wars with the couple of ms bucks I had left over... Spartan wars seems like a chore to play, not sure it's going to be very enjoyable...

The thing that sucks is the online,versus matches seem like they can be alot of fun,the levels are nice and i love the fact of fighting the other team while having zombies and hunters running around but it gets to the point where its soo hectic you really dont know what the hell is going on or who your shooting.

Once again im only like 2 hours into the game/multiplayyer so honestly it can go either way but right now its not that bad.

That game overall isn't bad if you get it for $10 or so but its a necessity to play with a friend or 2 because the AI is pretty awful. I enjoyed the overall game which wasn't super long to beat and it brought back alot of favorite parts of the RE series. However I did get annoyed after I beat it and found out I was only playing half of a game. The rest is DLC except for one "free" mission. You play as the other team that you are fighting throughout the game. I would say its ok since they are pretty much the same characters with different skins (same abilities) so not really missing out on anything (that I know of).

 
on a side note, I've only bought Titanfall so far in this whole lackluster sale. (PSN and Steam sales lately have been also lacking so it seems universal) $12.50 for the game and season pass is a pretty damn good deal. I was hesitant because I don't like buying games that are essentially online play only but I'm seriously enjoying it which I wasn't sure how I would feel about it. Getting very low on that hard drive space now... eesh.

Me too. I thought about Bioshock Infinite because I loved the game and it's cheap, but I know I'm not going to play it. I've fully moved onto Xbox One now. And, the backlog is already getting a couple deep on that system, so I'm being picky.

Now, if I got a sale on Styx, Pier Solar HD or Another World......

 
Want to buy more games but two things keep holding me back:

1. The constant, nagging fear that the games will eventually be released as a free GwG

2. Destiny. I know, I know, but I can't help myself.

Sort of off-topic I guess. So, when Games With Gold has put Assassin's Creed 2, for the first time I played the saga and I loved that game. Fun times, 1000GS, so I went out and bought every other episode released until then: all the way up to 3. I played Assassin's Creed 1 but it felt a lot poorer than AC2, was barely even enjoyable sometimes. Brotherhood was already pretty good, but fatigue was kicking in. Revelations and 3, while I have them, don't sound too inviting. For Xbox One, I managed to snag a free-ish code for Black Flag, and just got Unity for 25 bucks. Not bad at all, I say. The question is, should I play the other episodes first? I kinda want to play Unity now, even before Black Flag, but am I missing out on anything relevant to the plot? Also, gameplay-wise, will it be a big leap to go back to Black Flag (and even older games) after getting used to Unity? Kinda like how AC2 was A LOT superior gameplay-wise than AC1. I want to try out some true "next gen" Assassin's Creed action, but I don't want to end up "ruining" the older games by getting used to some features that will be hard to live without.

I don't give a fuck what anyone else in here says, Desmond's story was the best part of the series. If you enjoy a deep story, play it. This game touches on religion, mankinds history, regular history lol

Play them all. The story continues through all the games and in my humble opinion, is one of the best stories in all of gaming.

SR4 is indeed a blast. Played through it on the ps3, but without any dlc. Got the season pass when it was on sale a few weeks ago, so looking forward to playing through again on the 360. Love the Saints games.

Really liking Defiance as well...so glad to be able to finally actively play it.

I was thinking about my favorite parts of the AC series as I started up AC Rogue. One of the biggest reasons was the real world to animus story. Now... it just feels disconnected. I mean, it kinda feels spooky being "the guy" and working for Abstergo, but nothing's really happened at all since Black Flag. It's not just about the animus story, but also the reason we keep going back in that damn thing IMO.

 
Anyone think well see a terraria xbox one deal?

Thats what im really hoping for, especially after seeing it for sale for 6$ on ps4 (Which is also cross compatible with vita)

I already bought it for full price on 360, and not a fan of doing that again

I think the writers and developers just found maintaining those two story lines too difficult or time consuming. AC has always been a bit of a disappointment for me in the story department. The first game seemed to be building to something happening in the "real" world, but that never really paid off. I think the story falls into the same pitfalls that a tv series like The X Files or Lost falls into. It just can't possibly deliver on all the promises.

Considering how often it goes on sale for the 360, yes. Will it be during the Countdown Sale is a different story entirely.

I had a thought while I was standing in lines today though. What if next week this week's sales became next week's daily deals, and this week's daily deals became next week's weekly deals.

 
Another year where the best sales were the week-long deals. I wish we could have the great one-day sales of the past, but I guess we'll see those for that early-year sale.

 
Went ahead and purchased DD:DA a few hours ago from Amazon for $14.99. Probably should have waited to see what the weekly sales bring us, but meh. If it happens to be there and my order hasn't been processed yet (and if it's cheaper) I'll cancel. No big deal.

Just wanted to get it done so I'd know how much I have left for last minute shopping. Cutting it close though either way.

I'd like to see a sale on TWAU for me and WD for a friend. I've played through the first season like 4 times now, and own season 2 on both pc and amazon app store, but havent played through it yet and will be renting it from Gamefly at some point (to be able to play on the big screen and earn achievements). But yeah my buddy didnt have an X1 during the black friday sales so theres a lot he missed

Nothing for me on the daily deals yet so it's only State of Decay DLC for me this week.

Next year they should change it to daily deals for Xbox One games only. Call it "1 for One" and in the spirit of "Date Night", we could call it "One Night Stand".

I think they're just dragging it out, because suckers like me exist.

It is definitely building to a whole game, no animus, in the real world game. They just know they have a cash cow in front of them...and that milk is soooo fucking good.
