Finally something to spend my points on. Walking Dead Season 2 for $7.49, can't say no to that :)
Spec Ops is pretty good too. plays like Gears of War and it has Kid from the House Party Movies in it too.

If I watched the series, I probably would have bought Legend of Korra and Game of Thrones. Otherwise, nothing for me this week.

 
These XB1 countdown deals are a huge letdown. Every morning I wake up excited to buy something at a good value... Every morning ends up in disappointment. Come on Microsoft... Get your sales department in order.
 
Speaking of Walking Dead Season 2, just finished it and I was pretty letdown. Compared to 1, if I could have rejected spending time with most of the characters you meet and go alone, I would've chose that 9 times out of 10. Then a lot of the "twists" didnt have enough back story to justify the characters choosing that route. Not to mention the surprise kill offs weren't as good as 1 and the ending felt really dumb.

I thought about it like... 30 seconds. I watched the screenshots at the marketplace, and decided I would be happier with 5 bucks instead of that game.

PS: now I feel bad for buying Dead Island Riptide in previous sales. I haven't touched it yet and now it's cheaper :(

By far the worst Year i have ever seen with sales for holidays. I haven't bought one game yet. 99.9% of everything i have seen on sale i already have it and bought it cheaper. Or the games so garbage its not even worth downloading if it was for free. Cmon Microcrap give us some "deals" on games that came out this year other then $25 off the new naruto game. Like Legend of korra, game of thrones episode 1/season pass ect.. I guess i wont have to worry about getting more microsoft money since they don't want to put anything good on sale. Its crazy they would rather Delist video games then put them on sale. smh

An improvement over last week, it's funny that someone just yesterday mentioned Tell Tale games inevitably going on sale thus making the bundle price inflated.

 
Hopefully the 75% off Telltale carries over to the Xbox One. I'll grab that bundle for that even after buying episode 1 of both borderlands and GoT.

Got excited that the GoT season pass was on sale, but only 15%? Bleh. I would be surprised if this didn't get cheaper before all episodes are even released (it's the Telltale way!)

 
The Orange Box being on sale reminds me of how sad I am that I cannot play it since it makes me super nauseous. And that I hope Portal 1:SA goes on sale someday.

The Wolf Among Us is a fun experience. Good price if you have ep1 free already. I believe this was the lowest discount so far for the series.

I think it's the field of view in 1st person, just in the half life games for some reason. Never had the problem with any other games. It's not just camera sensitivity which is changeable, but the motion blur or something.

I sorta had the same thing with Far Cry 3, what with constantly sprinting and all, but I remember getting used to that. Who knows, I could just slug through it and hope for the best. Everyone seems to be of the opinion that these games should be played, though far from perfect they may be.

I know how you feel. There are some games that do that to me too. I remember having to take breaks from playing Doom/Doom 2 back in the day. It also happened in Oblivion and at least one of the Half Life games.

The only game I have any physical issues with is the evil within, when you're going through a mirror, it hurts my eyes. Never had a game make me feel sick.

It's a pretty rare thing for me. Usually I can take a break and I'm fine.

The worst was Oblivion. I had to take frequent breaks from it. Then I tried to watch a friend play it and it constantly made me sick. (though that may have been because my friend is awful about turning the opposite direction that you call out to him) The little bit of Skyrim that I've played has been fine though.

 
Microsoft has had better deals than Sony. I bought Skate, Bio infinite, plus others for less than $5. Can't say the same for Sony. All of their deals are more than $8 for AAA full games.
 
Legend of Korea foe 360/One for me today.

Still hoping foe an older obscure game over these games that just came out and will probably be on sale in the future.

With how many games get delisted... I might just have to buy up the whole marketplace I'd we don't get some fucking sales on obscure shit soon!

Since it has a discount it is on sale...if you are asking if I'm satiefied with the sales right now, the answer is no... (but since those games are pretty new we can't expect much of a discount anyway)

Also the Xbone had better daily deals than the 360 right now...

Im all game for the Witcher. Good thing I passed on the multiple times its been on sale. Now I get the see if I like the series before the awesome looking 3rd one comes out.

They didn't even have to pick up the other 2 episodes. If you complete the first episode with all achievements it will count as completed game (unless you buy the dlc an earn at least one achievement then it's unfinished again)

It went on sale six times between 2010-2011. http://xbldb.com/offers/001-eb2 Definitely needs another sale or at least a price drop to $10.

Yep. It went on sale for $10 last Christmas, and then again in August. A deal on this season pass was the the only thing I was hoping for out of the countdown sales, so I'm happy.
