I would have preferred to purchase Dragon Age: Inquisition Deluxe at the $45 price point which was yesterday's daily deal compared to the $69.99 I purchased it for three weeks ago. At the time I was in Europe and wouldn't get to play my physical copy purchased at BB until I got back for Christmas, but one of my buddies kept insisting that this is the best game ever and that I need to start playing the game immediately. After pestering me everyday for a week I finally gave in so he would finally stop bothering me about it. Too bad Xbox download purchases are final and don't follow the Microsoft Store policy of being able to get a price adjustment within 30 days if Microsoft lowers the price.

This. You used to have Samsung, Seagate, Western Digital, HGST, and a few smaller players making there own drives just a couple years ago. Then because of economics Seagate absorbed Samsung's drive division and WD absorbed HGST so the four biggest players became two and those two also swallowed up a handful of other smaller brands in the process as well. So in like the 2.5" Seagate external HDDs they're Samsung Spinpoint branded but also co-branded with Seagate's Momentus brand (they're laptop drive line) and manufactured by Seagate. It's a mess because like he said it's really luck of the draw and there's so many different actual parts composing one "model" of drives now that it's significantly harder to actually tell at a glance what the best stuff is. The 2TB model of the Backup Plus has the newer M9T in it which is highly regarded. The 1TB I got earlier in the year had the M8 (older/lower capacity drive) which has a lot less cache and I believe what is most likely still being used in the 1TB version.

The Seagate Expansion Portable I linked earlier is supposed to have the same M9T in it and happens to be a few dollars cheaper at the moment. No clue how people are confusing this with a hack. Miles of difference between xbl and psn getting ddosed compared to psn being hacked. Although I do seriously wonder how either company was DDOSed for an extended period of time when they were both forewarned a month in advance.

I don't mind it since it's only going to the controller and then I can use whatever headphones I want. What I hate about it is that the wireless is really audio is really crap at times and gets all crackly. Know it was a widespread problem when it came out, I should look into if it's still a problem and/or complain to MS about it.

 
Really hoping that MVC Origins goes on sale one of these days before it gets delisted on the 31st. I have the games on MAME but it would be nice to have on the console with online play.

I use the Astro A50s and I'm extremely happy with them. They also work on my PC, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 as well. Amazon sells them refurbished with a 1 year warranty from Astro for $100 off. I couldn't even tell that they had been refurbished.

I really don't know why I bought anything during the last two months.  Just trading it all back without having opened it to get the digital

The only fully wireless ones for the xbone are the turtle beach stealth 500x. They retail for $230 but go on sale for $200, so they're pretty expensive. Everything else made for the xbone is wireless to the console, but need a wire to the adapter on the controller to hear game audio, chat, and control audio and volume. I have the Polk 4shots. They retailed for $160 and I paid that much when they released. They sound good and I thought they were comfortable until I got some Bose ae2 headphones. Now everything else i try, including the polks, hurts my head quickly. The good thing about the xbone is that with the adapter you can use any headphones to hear game audio, so when I'm playing a single player game I always just use the Bose ones.

Not sure if posted, but sunset overdrive flash sale is up on live.xbox.com I guess. Just saw it on sunset overdrives twitter feed. Ends sometime tomorrow.

I wonder how many games she sold alone for that mobile phone war game that had her running through a battlefield in slow motion with bouncing boobies. My wife saw that commercial one night and just chuckled and said wonder how many nerds just bought that game?....well after they changed their pants. Oh god love her shes a keeper.
