Bought Dance Central but I'm on the fence with Fantasia. Lots of fun but gonna sleep on that price and see how much funny money I have left and what else I want to buy.

DA:O is a lot of fun still but man that game has not agreed well on the technical side and it certainly wasn't ever known for that to begin with.
 
GTA 5 down to 58% off on 360 ($25.19 according to XBLDB), which is an odd percentage for something to be on sale for. 

 
Oh, while looking through games to see what DLC I'm missing that I want I remembered that Alan Wake has DLC, is it worth getting? I really enjoyed the base game.

 
Just wanted to give my feedback on one of the few games I've bought during these "sales." RBI Baseball 14 is quite a letdown. No stat tracking, rubberband opposition, no idea where fly balls will land which leads to normal outs turning into triples, animations that are just off(defenders field the ball before it enters their glove), etc. Plus, why would I play a full 162 game season again with, no stat tracking? Just bare bones really. Not to mention the fact I can get in a pickle to advance the runner to the next base anytime I want. The fielders don't chase the runner down, just throw the ball in a loop to each bag. I feel ripped off for paying $5 on this garbage. Can't believe they have the gall to charge $20 too. Did I mention it has broken achievements too? :speaktothehand: Stay away from this crap CAGs. Only thing it has going for it is easy pick up and play with each game lasting 15 minutes

No way GTA will be that cheap or close to it on XB1...if so I will be EXTREMELY surprised.  Already have it though so doubt I'll go that route unless it would be so cheap I could trade it in for more than it's on sale for.

Also doubt it'll even be on sale the same day, if at all...seems like the 360 and XB1 daily themes have rarely lined up together.

The day before Resident Evil 4 was on sale, the 360 had a RE sale in the video marketplace. MS must have hired a bunch of noobs to arrange and coordinate these New Years sales. What a cluster fuck man

Hey just to potentially give you all hope on getting DR3 on sale, its currently on sale on steam for 30 bucks. It COULD be something, because when capcom puts a game on sale, the same on other platforms tend to go on sale not soon after. so its a potential good sign its coming. 

 
My favorite part of daily deals is watching people grasp at straws or make mountains out of ant hills in hopes that their games go on sale or better yet when it does and it's 25% or so discount.

Yup it's not just between consoles, the whole sale just seems weird and random...

Just noticed that too, although I'm hoping it's less than $30 since it's a launch game. I know it's the Apocalypse Edition but still, hoping for $25 or less since I don't really care about the included DLC.

I wouldn't put that past them, but if they did that would be EXTREMELY idiotic. Then again much of this sale has been... I wonder so far how many games were on "sale" with a forced bundle like GTA has been and NBA was.

No, I recall you and another mentioning that and the achievement glitch. Course after trying the Dem for three innings, I was all, "this is just like the RBI of old and Ken Griffey Jr from the she's days!!!!" Then that five minutes of joy was gone and reality kicked in. The demo is the high really. Should have not bought the game and kept the free demo on my HDD. Live, learn and listen to fellow CAGs I guess!!!

You'll have to google them all but... Sound/music/effects cuts out or was even left out in areas...game will flat out just crash sometimes...other times the framerate will get EXTREMELY slow so it's unplayable....

 
I'd like a double pack bundle of season passes for certain games even though there's a fat chance of that happening.  Like what about AC4 and AC Unity offering a double pack at 60-70% off both when purchased together?

Few days? We only have Monday left. I'm sure we can assume the One will probably get something like GTAV for $45 or $40 tonight or so since Microsoft has such a huge boner for 2K game "sales".

 
Wow, these daily deals the last few days have really sucked big time!! I just don't get it. They have a MASSIVE catalog of arcade titles that they could easily put on sale, some of which have never been put on sale. Same with DLC. Again, I just don't get it. This whole thing started off pretty strong in my opinion, but it has slumped into the SUCK category pretty fast. If it wasn't for the Xbox One side, this would definitely be one of the weakest countdown sales I have seen yet.

All it would have taken is 5 minutes researching the game to realize that RBI Baseball 14 is in the stinker category, BIG TIME. Even Official Xbox Magazine gave it a 5/10 and Game Informer actually gave it a 20/100. There are actually only 3 reviews up on Metacritic as most game sites didn't even bother. That in itself should tell you something. That doesn't happen with quality titles.

No offense, but people that bought it expecting a quality baseball title really have nobody to blame but themselves.

I dont feel like the sale has been very good but I have spent a lot of the credit I've had. My list of purchases:

Dragon Age: Inquisition
Telltale Bundle
Fantasia Music Evolved

I had considered Lords of the Fallen and Alien Isolation as well but passed.

Other things I'd like to see on sale:
Sunset Overdrive season pass
Dragon Age seasons pass (if there is even one)
And maybe some of the dlc for Fantasia

I just don't understand why these companies are so against putting DLC on sale. Sony is just as guilty as MS in this regard. I would have purchased Sunset Overdrive and Dragon Age DLC without hesitation, even if it was only like 20-25% off the normal price. Same goes for digital only titles in general. There are like 300 of them on Xbox Live Arcade and we are lucky if we see 3-4 titles go on sale. Some titles have never been on sale, ever. Why not put those up for sale? Again Sony is just as guilty as MS in this regard. As I stated in a previous post, I just don't understand this at all. Just makes no sense.

I got

1) DA:I (had physical, traded it in to BB and went digital)

2) SO (same as above)

3) TellTale Bundle

4) Dance Central (and I don't even have a Kinect, yet. looking for a refurbished.)

Looking for SPs for #1, #2 & sale on Destiny SP (if there ever is going to be one...I aint paying $35 bucks for the SP)

Oh, and you should rethink about Lords of the fallen - they are not kidding when they say it is Dark Souls clone. But it is still fun and the save system is kinda unique. In a way it encourages to *not* save your progress with the element of risk and higher rewards. And yeah, you die a lot.

btw, if you were not into the souls games then ignore the above statements :)

I have it on PC and it runs really well but it would be much more appealing on the big screen with achievements. Just couldnt bite the bullet because i would have been around $60 between pc and x1.

I also have Alien Iso on pc but unfortunately its the only game in my entire steam library I cant get to run property
 
The sales were lackluster for me, but if I didn't have some of the games I would have been happy. The telltale deal was awesome. Video game deals have been mediocre like Michael Crabtree the last year. Or I have gotten too picky and cheap. Probably that.

I could be wrong but I think the publishers are to blame too, and not just MS/Sony/Nintendo. Except maybe Nintendo is to blame. I never buy digital with their lack of sales worth a damn.
