For the few extra bucks I'd just go next-gen. I have it on PC and it actually looks pretty great so I imagine that's how it'll look on XB1 too.

So far we know Terrraria is on sale and those three Lego games are. I'm not sure if anybody knows yet which are daily's or if any are and they're all part of the weekly. I would HOPE they are all part of the weekly since we around had two (not one but TWO) Indie daily's and already had a Lego day as well (at least I think that was a daily...).

If you are bored in any version of Terraria that has been released, I wouldn't purchase a version of it on the new consoles. I'd also have your head examined :) It's one of my favorite games of the last few years. If you aren't playing it on the PC, I think the next gen console versions are a great buy.

Considering Lego is Gold only deal, I'm going to say that's the Deal of the Week. Which is still leaps and bounds better than any of the daily deals.

IIRC, Lego Indiana Jones II and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga are unfortunately the only Lego games with online coop. I wish they all had it so I could have a bunch more games to play with my nephew online.

Online co-op was painfully missing from Lego LOTR and Lego Hobbit. I'd of loved to have played these two games online with my friends.

According to Major Nelson's blog, Lego Marvel for X1 is supposed to be discounted 25%. I jumped on it for the 67% discount in case of a temporary error. The 360 version is listed as the 67% discount. Just a thought for anyone on the fence.

it was glorious in the beginning. 8 people running around blowing everything the fuck up. So much fun. Everything I love about multiplayer was wrapped up in Chaos Mode. But yeah...sucks the game didn't do so hot. Everyone cries and whines about ditching remakes/remasters for "new IPs", then when a good one comes out, nobody buys it.

Anybody playing this Halo beta? Took some getting used to after playing a lot of Halo 2 lately, but I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm sure purists will hate it, but I think it does a great job modernizing the series.
 
Just tried the Lego Marvel demo...completed it, and am now getting the start of a headache...think the Lego games are really just off limits for me

it was glorious in the beginning. 8 people running around blowing everything the fuck up. So much fun. Everything I love about multiplayer was wrapped up in Chaos Mode. But yeah...sucks the game didn't do so hot. Everyone cries and whines about ditching remakes/remasters for "new IPs", then when a good one comes out, nobody buys it.

X1's attach rate was still in the toilet when SO came out. That probably didn't help.
 
stupid question I have since I don't have the Xbox One yet, if I "bought" the free games they offer and lost live for 2 weeks then paid for membership again, will those games will be downloadable when I get the Xbox One? thanks guys

Damn.  If tomorrow really is the last day for games to be revealed, I'm not gonna get very far on my remaining list.

My list, in order of most want to least:

 * Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition

 * Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment

 * WWE 2k15

 * Sniper Elite III

 * The Golf Club

 * LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

Well if you look at the calendar on the system it stops at "2" tomorrow. Makes me suspicious that we either get something else on New Year's Eve or a Steam style recap or something. Hopefully. Just more disappointment I'm sure.

I wouldn't be surprised to see DR3 or Sniper Elite III. I'd say those both have a good chance of showing up. Also, I would sort of expect deals on the 1st as well, just because it's a holiday and all that jazz.

I was really just hoping on LEGO Batman but for that price I can buy a physical copy and trade it in later. Oh well, I got some pretty good indie and arcade games from the sale.

At least I bought a couple games in the XB1 sale. The 4 Weeks of PSN Holiday Sales haven't even tempted me once.

 
Went ahead and just purchased Jackbox and MvC Origins at full price. Plan on trading in 15 old 360 games to MS Store for $150 Wednesday anyways. I'm finally at the point where I own just about everything I wanted. Time to start playing games for a change.

Lucky you. Closest ms store is 300 miles away...lol...not really worth the trip.
 
For those of you who have played TWD, do you guys think 400 Days is worth picking up for $2.49? I just grabbed the season 2 pass on 360, and am now just debating if I should grab that too. I already played season 1, so I'm just curious if 400 Days impacts Season 2 heavily or just a little bit.
