It has been on sale twice, but the last time was in April 2014 so it's been a while.

 
I decided to go ahead and finish Shadow of Mordor tonight and I noticed after I finished it that none of the story related achievements unlocked for me. Is there a way to select the missions to replay or do I have to start all over again to do those missions. I know for sure that I am not starting the game all over again just for 5 achievements.

There were problems with xbl again like always and I saw achievements were affected. That has happened to me a bunch of times on the xbone and the only time I got completely shafted was with one achievement in forza 5 for hitting lvl 50. I got it when they had the full game trial and even after all these months nothing popped. The achievement app should show the words unlocking for the achievements
 
Wish they would have a sale on Duke Nukem 3D instead of Forever.

How exactly is Minerva's Den purchased? I searched on the dashboard and loaded the game yet I don't see the option to buy the DLC.

Not sure if it was answered yet, but is the Mafia 2 DLC worth getting?   Seems weird that the DLC combined costs more than the game.

Well none of the achievements that should have unlocked say unlocking for me. I'll have to wait and see if they pop up tomorrow. This is really stupid all because of Microsoft fault I won't have the achievements for beating the game.

 
Is anyone else having trouble seeing 360 dlc on marketplace.xbox.com?

EDIT: yeah 2k finally badgered me into Minerva's den so what? I was afraid it would never go on sale again.

I had that same issue with one of them and it sorted itself out a few days later. That game is a lightning rod for every little Xbox one issue that was supposedly fixed already. Good luck getting the dlc straight also.

I just started...and finished it. It is VERY short. Like 4 hours tops for the full 1000....and that includes watching every video you unlock along the way. I enjoyed it for the most part, but I'd only recommended it right now if your looking for a quick gaming break from a longer game your playing.

Awesome. Hope you enjoy. I played the demo for xcom and I just couldn't get in to it. I really wanted to. It seems like a blast while being deep, complex and interesting at the same time. For whatever reason though I just couldn't get into it.

Well, I finally unlocked him last night and immediately began buying his books to boost my influence so I could get more inquisition perks. I got a total of 14 inquisition points and a crazy amount of power points. I was able to unlock 14 inquisition perks before going to bed. This morning however, I tried getting more from him, but now the books I buy only give me power, no more influence. I still have plenty on perks to unlock and I'm doing the same thing I was doing last night, I'm just not getting the influence points. Anybody know a fix to this? I'd greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks!

*edit - got an answer. Turns out I'm just screwed.

I also need DA:I help. Where is the war room? I've been wandering around the start of the game (after prologue) for a few hours doing side quests. I have no idea where the war room is to advance the story.

War room is in the tall, cathedral looking building. Walk in, then run straight ahead to the dead end double doors. That's the war room. If you put that as your active quest the marker should show on your map for you.

Edit- As far as I can recall, the first time you go there there will be a large crowd of people standing outside of it arguing. So just look for the tallest building in the area with the crowd gathered out front. After the cutscene, just go inside and as I said, the war room is straight down the hall at the end. I could be wrong about the people gathered around though, that may come a little later.

If you're where I think you are, you need to go back to the war room to setup the watchtowers around the farm to get the horses. I was confused too until I brought up the map and pressed X to view the entire world and went back to the starting area. Apparently there's a lot of things there to revisit often including the war room you used at the beginning of the game.

 
Just a heads up, about 15 new clothing packs were added for D4. They're all free. Some of them are: gears of war, happy wars, fable, super brothers and killer instinct. Oh yeah, and a ridiculous amount of beards.
 
Anyone had any trouble unlocking the Versailles achievement in Unity? I got all of the cockades and chests in the level but no achievement

Thanks! I keep meaning to start this game, but I wind up playing Destiny all night instead. I grabbed all the free clothes. Drawing the line at beards though.

 
Has anyone had success downloading the new Rock Band tracks? I keep trying from the website but I get either Page Not Found errors or "Sorry, the offer is not valid in your region."

Its out-of-whack difficulty curve is legendary. Its so infamous that some of the dev team worked on an unofficial PC mod in their spare time which was designed to improve combat & make for a more natural difficulty curve. (read more about the mod here.)

Basically the first of the three acts is very challenging. Too challenging for my taste, personally. In the second act, the difficulty balance is about spot-on. But by the third act you're essentially god.

Personally I started on Default, then went to Easy mode for most of act 1, then went back to Default for act 2, then went to Hard for act 3. I never tried Dark mode.

Regarding Difficulty: "Upon completion of the tutorial the game will suggest what difficulty you should play the game at (based on how well you do in the tutorial ending "arena" style fight), at this point you can accept the suggested difficulty level or disregard the suggestion and choose yourself.

After starting the game you are free to change difficulty whenever and however you see fit, the only caveat to this is you must select DARK difficulty at the start, you can not change the difficulty up to DARK at any point. If you start the game on DARK you are free to change difficulty down, but you will not be allowed to go back to it and any diagrams you have or items you crafted from diagrams that are only accessible in DARK mode will be taken from your inventory and loss unless you revert back to previous save. just a heads up."

I got in on the Black Friday "Kinect Sports Rivals" glitch on their site and found one of these promo codes emailed to me last week.

Despite not seeing anywhere in the email that there's certain terms or exceptions, you can't use it to buy XBL subs or currency, nor pre-orders, so it seemed pretty lame--unless you like saving $15 off MSRP for games that are half-off other places?

So a few hours into witcher 2 and so far a challenge. I think I'm still trying to figure out everything. Not bad, but wish it was easier to pick up right Away.
