I would say stick with the vanilla. There is somewhere around 30 hours worth of content if you want to beat all the missions/side quests and get all the achievements. The extra weapons are probably not worth it, because you can get really good weapons by doing side quests, and the multiplayer is alright, but definitely not worth spending extra money on.

Totally agree! I don't think this is exactly the place for it, but I picked up BF4 Premium as well and would love some CAG buddies on there. "monkey lutefisk" is my gamertag.

 
Arcania is actually a pretty fun game. I enjoyed my time with it. If you have Reckoning, Divinity II, or any Elder Scrolls game in your backlog, play those first though.

Might pick up Deadfall for that price, looks kind of like an FPS version of Uncharted...

Thanks for the heads up! Just picked up 3 - 12 month Xbox Live cards for $39.99 a pop, plus got $15 in free gift cards. Gotta love that!

Also gotta say, MS has really gotten MUCH better in regards to digital sales. Their sales used to be ridiculously bad. Now your seeing pretty sick deals on a pretty regular basis. Gotta give a tip of the hat to Phil Spencer. That man has absolutely been a miracle worker in regards to the Xbox. Not sure if he is responsible for the better sales, but I have definitely noticed a difference since he came on board.

Ack, I forgot to pick up Dragon Age 2, and I won't be home until 3:30. I really hate that you can't use MS account funds to buy 360 content unless you are on the 360. Around what time do they usually switch from the old sale to the new one?
 
I didn't get premium, but I have Battlefield 4 and the Second Assault pack. Stopped playing because going solo is death. The arenas and teams are so big that it wasn't fun. Maybe it would be more fun with CAGs.

Well, time to shop for a hard drive. Didn't realize how many xbone games I've had to delete until this morning when I noticed 11 games sitting off to side "ready to install". Had to delete RE remastered to make room for FC4. That was a bitter pill to swallow.

Unless you're going to be throwing the drive the WD one is perfectly fine. Even a short fall while it's running will kill it with almost any commercial enclosure so that's only good for traveling.

I would personally go 2TB or more but that's a solid option if you don't buy a ton of digital games. Can also run multiple drives at the same time down the line if you want to spend less now. Also you can prove match that ED drive to Amazon for $57.

I had two WD externals awhile back and they took a small fall, maybe 3 and were done for. You can def find 1TB for cheaper than 70 (I've seen this one get close to 60 and it has been as high as 84 in the past) but paying a little more for the security is worth it to me. I haven't dropped these yet and I'm not trying to test it like the guys in that video lol but they are good overall drives, no problems.

Omg, so many options. It's just a little overwhelming. Thanks for all the input guys. I'm definitely just getting a 1tb for now, at least just to throw all the gwg on there I don't care as much about. This summer I'll get something better for my wife to give me for my birthday. :)

Played couple hours of BF Hardline beta with Major Nelson (name drop!) last night. Yeah, definitely reminded me how much I loved Battlefield, but this feels a bit off, like Visceral couldn't capture the full awesomeness of BF. Still fun though.

Visceral worked on the last piece of DLC for BF3 before jumping into development for this so there's going to be no innovation over BF4 (which is pretty much 3.5) to be expected.

That said it's nice to see more people picking this up now that it's not the broken mess it was over a year ago. I started playing again recently and wouldn't mind having more CAGs to play with

If you got ea access then you can still play it. If not then I figure you can prob get a physical copy around 18-20. I ended up getting the digital version and selling my physical copy. As much as I play this game and it is something that I will keep. I figured that digital was the way to go since it has to be installed anyway. Once you get it, spend the extra to get the Bruce Lee bundle. I think it is no more than 2 bucks or something.

True but maybe you move your system around the house or to someone else's house, maybe he's got kids or maybe rearranges his entertainment center and drops it. It's just better safe than sorry. I would recommend the silicon power for more sensitive data but he was looking at a drive for 70, and the silicon power is same price right now and an excellent drive. And you can also get a 2TB Drive for $111. For just an extra 14 dollars compared to the one you linked I feel is worth the extra security in knowing if something does happen your data will be safe.

Yeah, I went to staples, had the one I originally linked to in the cart (just the box for it) and my two year old promptly threw it on the ground. I put it back and now I'm ordering the one you linked to. Thanks again!

I bought a 6tb around black Friday for about $110. No matter what I install I can't get past 15% use right now :) I have at least 20 retail games plus every gold game installed on it right now.

Edit: actually it was a WD 5tb and it cost $104.31 with tax.

Didn't see this mentioned yet: anyone who's had problems installing the new trials fusion dlc should be able to do it now. It was saying $4.99 even if you had the season pass but it seems they corrected it.

Nice wish I could find a 6tb for that price. My x1 hdd is full so I've been looking and best I see is either a WD my book 4tb for 126. Same price for the Seagate 4tb but I would get the wd.
 
How important is the RMP when buying an external for the Xbone? I'm debating between 5400 and 7200. Of course i know i can get more storage with a 5400 HD

 
Anyone on 360 able to download the beta? I can "purchase" it but it doesn't download. Keeps saying the beta is unable to download.

EDIT: There appeared to be some problem with the marketplace, either on my end or theirs. Before, it wasn't letting me download anything, after deleting my profile, clearing the cache and re-downloading the profile, other things were downloading but not the beta. Tried again now and it seems like it's working again because it's downloading.

Pretty low. It's nice and will be a little faster but for the difference in price and the lack of options (there basically are none these days that aren't nearly twice as much) I wouldn't recommend it. Those minimal differences are really only going to translate to loading speed anyway. 5400 RPM external runs just fine.

So Game of Thrones episode 2 is coming up as $5 for me. In case any one was holding out hope that the free season pass would work out after all, that's a no go.

Wait for it unlock in the game itself and check. Still says purchased under all episodes but ep2 is still coming soon. So maybe there is a chance.

Also the info on episode 2 in the marketplace says "if you own the season pass do not purchase content here as you will be charged again." So if you own the season pass, I guess it will still show a price anyways?

yea it would show the price if it's like the telltale games in the past (which it should be). But if it's on the marketplace it should also be available to download within the game unless there's a bug with the pass which has also happened before.
