On the 360 Arcade sale, can anyone recommend A World of Keflings? It's cheap and only takes up 160.21 mb of space but I'm not sure if I'll like it. And I got kind of bored with Fez on PSN but I'm wondering I should get that one too since the file size is small and so many people swear by it.

And I will recommend Battleblock Theater, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Joe Danger 2 and Spelunky. I also bought Castle Crashers from this sale but I haven't booted it yet.

For some reason, I'm considering Zoo Tycoon. I used to enjoy leisurely games like Sim City back in the day but I don't know if this is more like that or more oriented around feeding the animals since there seems to be a long of mention of care in the reviews I've read. Decisions, decisions.

A World of Keflings is a fun little tycoon/sim game. The demo should help you figure out if you want more of it.

I don't know why you'd buy Fez again to find out if you'll like it instead of going back to it on the other platform to play it more and see if your opinion changes.

 
Well this is disappointing. Got my Xbox Live Rewards statement for last month, and did not get any of the rewards for playing a multiplayer game X amount of hours and the GWG 10 hours under 14 days. All those hours of #IDARB for nothing c'est la vie :(

 
So how long has the Killer Instinct complete collection been on sale? It's showing up as $60, marked down from $80. Also, has the complete season 2 always been $20? The description says 50% off for a limited time. For $20 I might go for it.

It's my understanding that you need a 3 month card or more in order to take advantage of the gold deals, including GWG. don't take my word for it though.
 
Anyone know if Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel will be available separately as downloads, or only as a bundle?

I know a few people around here asked for opinions on Banjo Kazooie from the point of never playing them before, so here are my thoughts after about two hours of play.

It controls better than I expected with more moves than I would've expected out of this sort of game. The one issue I have there is that the camera is pretty bad and the flip jump/egg shooting can be hard to control at times. I'm on the Treasure Cove level, or whatever the beach level is called, and I think I'm stuck at this point with no clear idea of what to do at the moment. The levels seem to be mostly about exploration of every square inch of them to get all of the collectibles in each level before moving onto the next, which isn't as straightforward as I would have expected since it doesn't really have a simple hub area to get to other levels quickly. Nitpicking aside, it seems to be a solid 3D platformer that hasn't aged all that well compared to others from that era, but it's good enough for $5 during this sale.

 
Just finished Tomb Raider and while I enjoyed the game overall I really dont get what all the fuss is about. I think I would have enjoyed it more with far fewer enemies. Thought it was going to be a survival story, instead it devolved into a generic shooter too often.

Play it on hard and only use the bow and arrow and knife. That's survival right there.

I will agree that it had too many enemies, however for all that I still really enjoyed it.

 
It just didn't feel like a tomb raider game to me. I probably would have enjoyed it more if it had a different name due to my expectations upon starting it. It just felt like it was missing what made the older games special. Still happy I was able to play it tho

That's almost how I felt. I'm playing Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary and really am enjoying the puzzles and platforming. The action is sparse, which isn't a negative thing at all. It feels distinct and several puzzles actually had me stop and really figure out how to solve them. Even Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light had actual puzzles to solve, while Tomb Raider had puzzles that were so dumbed down with no effort. I really expected the tomb portions to have actual puzzles, but they felt like last second additions because some designer remembered the title of the game.

If it had been called Rob Zombie's Nightmare Island Fiesta I might not be so harsh, but to alter a game franchise so much to appeal to (bloodthirsty?) masses is pathetic. Instead it's an oversimplified, gore-porn game with an uninspired supernatural story line (it's this, but it isn't, BUT IT IS, but it actually isn't, but seriously it is!) about a psychotic girl who enjoys killing people, and who gets bonus points for executing people in sadistic fashion.

I'm just the opposite. I never liked the old Tomb Raider games and the reboot was a lot of fun.

Off topic but I was looking at my account for True achievements and noticed the streak leader for consecutive days getting an achievement was over 2,000+ days.  I did it 100 days straight once and it required a lot of effort on my part.  It is just insane to think of not only playing that many days in a row but also being sure you got an achievement. 

 
I've been sick all weekend. I want to start the Dragon Age Inquisition free trial tonight. Does the trial's 6 hours last from the time I start playing or until midnight tonight? I'll probably end up buying the full game anyway but I'll only get to play the trial from 9 to 11 tonight since I have to get up early for work on Monday.
