Sadly I think this may cap at 2000G.

But even more encouraging is that a launch title got free achievements this late in the game. If they havent completely abandoned it at this point, perhaps Crytek may be planning a sequel.

As someone who has the 1k in the 360 version, if you aim for all gold, you should have the last achievement after three months of playing every day.

Also of note, I find getting good scores is easier on the X1 as opposed to the 360. On the 360, could never get a diamond. On the X1, I have around 10. Probably cut around three weeks off my needed time for this go around so far.

I've been waiting patiently for the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion DLC to go on sale. Does it ever go on sale? All I want is Shivering Isles...Is there any reason to think it might go on sale soon? I can't remember the last time I paid full price for a game, including dlc, but I'm about to break.

Probably should just see if a GS near you has it for $5 instead of waiting and hoping forever and it still probably being $5 at best.

 
LOL. I hadn't even looked into Ziggurat. Thought it was a port of the iOS game of the same name, which is just a in-place arcade shooter.

After seeing your review, my interest has piqued.

edit: booted up the ole 360 for the first time in a month or so to play some Shadowrun and 2/5 dashboard ads are for Xbox One stuff. :p

I just found it last week on Netflix. Loved season 1, but not so much season 2.

I'll wait for a sale on Ziggurat. Looks fun, but already too much to play. Still need to reach Killer rank in Killer Instinct. Highest I've gotten to is 750/1000 points in gold league.

I'm enjoying season 2 as much as the first. It just ups the ante way higher after that two year hiatus with more boobs and blood and I'm cool with that.

 
FWIW, CoD Ghosts season pass cross buy(360->XBO) is still active.  I just sold a 360 SP, and he checked and the XBO one shows up as $0 now.

 
My Sunset Overdrive isn't requiring me to insert the disc for some odd reason. Does anyone else have the disc version installed that can check to see if it's a common bug with the latest patch?

I liked having a bunch of random stories about Hitler trying to take over the world instead of one big storyline. Watching Archer Vice now and having the same feeling.

Got Killer rank in Killer Instinct. So happy to finally play ranked matches best of 3.

Still gotta insert the disc on mine. Luck of the draw, I guess. Now you don't have to waste time getting up and putting the disc in lol.
 
So I just played an hour (or hour and 10 minutes) with the top vent completely covered with a microfiber cloth accidentally.  (Played COD:AW Campaign)

WheN I took it off it was so hot I could barely keep my hand on the plastic vent part.

Soooo....what did I just do to my console?

Lol that was hilarious especially when his Robocop gun made that weird noise when he tried picking it up. I never actually used the towel trick but one similar. I would put qui-tips in the holes in the back to stop the fans. Essentially it worked the same way but I actually never had RRoD, it was E74 error which I got right after an update (which I still find fishy to this day). Eventually was able to get that one replaced though (not before I bought a new one though). That was probably the best towel trick video though, Go CheapyD!

I never had a RRoD either but I had that happen to my original 20 GB as well! Crashed during an update and was bricked with that error!

I think there was some issues off the bat with both platforms but they went away quickly (fortunately).

I use a launch Xbox One and haven't had any problems. I make sure nothing is blocking any of the vents and nothing ever goes on top of it while on. I do have problems with my DVR overheating. Randomly sounds like it is doing something intense, even when turned off.

I was excited to see this until I realized it was not on XB1.

On a different note, has anyone played Ziggurat yet? Just wondering first impressions of the game... I love me some rogue-likes and this one looks interesting enough to warrant a buy from me. Is it $15 worthy? Please voice any impressions you may have of the game and if you actually own it, your thoughts.

Akai Katana has been on my want list but just checked Amazon and its on AWD for $9.70 currently so unless you have tons of credit to blow you're probably better off just getting it off Amazon.

Yeah I think it happened to quite a few people (as i recall when i went to the forums and saw others had the same issue) because eventually MS added E74 to the 3-year warranty extension with RRoD. The thing is my system ran perfectly before that, maybe a freeze here or there but it was just odd it bricked like that.
