YES!

Tempura of the Dead is awesome. It's a samurai and the President (basically Obama with a Tommy gun) fighting zombies in a Ninja Gaiden-style platformer, complete with horrible NES dialogue. And the point is to combo juggle decapitated heads to get powered up.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll take a look at those. Tempura of the dead does look amusing but looks like a 1 or 2 dollar game, not a $5 one. Still better to spend money on it than have the money just get stolen by MS

I gotta ask if the no luca no suggestion is a joke though. Isn't that the game where you just push a button to keep a cat from your plate or something?

You keep the cat from eating your cereal. I think there is a sequel, but it isn't on XBLIG.

I just remembered a couple others that I liked. Avatar Legends (create your own RPG) and CastleminerZ (Like Minecraft, but much much worse. Has some interesting ideas though)
 
Been a couple weeks since I've checked in, so not sure if it's been mentioned but Lego Jurassic world, evil within digital bundle and ESO are all available for pre-order on the X1 store.

And thanks eastx and others who recommended ultratron, you talked me in to it. Probably lifeless planet too. Since I'll probably spend the next six months playing Dark Souls 2 and Witcher 3 my backlog will need some attention.
 
For those of you that are inclined to buy mass quantities of XBL credit when it's on sale and you don't have anything in mind to spend it on, feel free to just send those codes to me in the future for "safekeeping". I'll take good care of them.
 
Just kind of ticks me off when they put something on sale for $26.79. Yes I get it's only a few bucks, about the same price as one fast food meal (less depending what you get), but seriously if ScreamRide was $19.99 I'd seriously consider it but for twenty freaking six and some change I really don't even think twice...just a nope.

If it's wracking your brain THAT much send it to a budget gamer who's married with three kids and rarely buys games for himself anymore...

I'm glad Xbox Rewards decided to drop the 1000 points for playing GWG right after they started giving games I hadn't already played to death or had no interest in. Surveys giving a dollar every 4 months is something I guess. 

Do they still give you anything for birthday month?

 
What an asstastic selection of "deals" this week.  Geez if people haven't bought CoD yet at this point, 17% sure as hell isn't going to be the trick.

I'm still waiting for a Lego Batman 3 Season Pass 50% or greater deal, it's already done that at least twice on the PSN.

Yes if it's queued, nope if it's already downloading.

Before you even start the download? No.

I just keep the internal HDD too filled for GonD games, so it automatically downloads them on the external.

Great choice. I got tired of the World War I and II games so Modern Warfare (the first CoD game I actually like) was a welcomed change. I'm more of a Medal of Honor fan (especially the PS1 classic) for the World War gaming.

When it comes to Xbox balances, I buy one of those $30 gift card packs that's divided into 3 $10 cards. Having more than $20 digitally this late into the 360's lifecycle seems risky.

Alien Isolation is worth full price. I didn't pay full price but I got it on Black Friday. If I knew it was going to be that good, I would have bought it on launch. But yea, it's definitely worth $20.

BTW, it is nothing like the two games you mentioned.

Alien Isolation can be frustrating at times because of how random the alien is. However the randomness of the alien is also what keeps the game fresh and exciting every time you die.

I'm a fan of Outlast (similar gameplay to Alien), but after you die a couple times you learn the pattern of the enemies and it gets much less scary. Alien didn't appear to have that problem when I played. Maybe there is a complex pattern that people have picked up on, but I couldn't figure it out.
 
Yep. MS has really been dropping the ball on sales lately. Seriously three or four games on sale per system? Sony has more than that just for their Plus members and another 70 or so for everyone (admittedly some repeats due to bring on several platforms). WTF Microsoft?

The Ultimate Game sale was the last decent sale and I only picked up a few things then.

Queue up the game you really want after it.

Change the storage on queued game.

Cancel the demo download.

It really is getting harder and harder to defend this company every week. If I wasn't such an achievement whore/brand loyalist/Gears Of War fanboy I'd be playing everything on PS4 and PC.
 
Until the current generation, Xbox live really had no competition as a console online service.


Unfortunately they still haven't realized they have competition now.
