There is no park simulation...

If you walk into Screamride expecting a construction and management simulation, you might be disappointed. There is no way to manage the people who enter your park, costs, shops, or anything of the sort. This is more of an engineering game than a simulative one.

I think Planet Coaster - from the developers behind RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 - is more what you are looking for, but it has only been announced for PC, and isn't coming out until 2016.



 
How is dying light's camera/movement for someone with motion sickness issues? I couldn't play dead island at all but I played bioshock for 8 hours straight

I do recall that you are a barfer. This game has a lot of fast motion in it because of the parkour. A lot of quickly looking behind you. The game is awesome, but I don't want you to toss your cookies on your controller.

This week's .99 movie rental is Oldboy, a remake of the Korean thriller. It stars Josh Brolin. Don't know if it's good.

There's also 20+ free episodes of Naruto.

It's basically a minigame collection with just three minigames. One is just a roller coaster builder with another about riding/racing them. The third modewas the best from the demo, which is a Angry Birds-style destruction mode.

 
PSA: Halo MCC has two achievements today: view the sign thing on Vahalla in H3 and view the sign thing in Zanzibar Classic on H2.

 
BTW - Predator is now accessible via the "Manage Game" option for Kombat Pass owners of MKX (as well as the Predator/Prey skin pack).  While you can pull it up via the Marketplace, it will show Unavailable (so don't do it that way).

For Witcher 3 DLC, the Alternate Look for Ciri DLC (first noted last week, though unavailable) is now accessible only on the XB1 Console (search for Witcher 3).  The link online hasn't been updated, so it's not accessible that way.  No additional Witcher 3 DLC has been added that I could see.

I'm not even exaggerating when I say I had to put in somewhere around 12-15 hours before the game stopped holding your hand and actually let you free roam.

Way too boring and the main character has the personality of a wet box

The tweet linked was was dated yesterday AM. This evening is when it first became downloadable. Last week, it showed up on both the console and online as "unavailable." However, when it re-showed on the console this evening, it was not the same as the what was up last week (not sure if that made sense - I 'pinned' the unavailable version last week - but it no longer points to the "available" version).

Having said that, everyone is free to err on the side of caution certainly.

Does anyone know if the "GOTY" editions of Mortal Kombat and Injustice have the DLC on a second disc, a redeemable code, or if they're integrated into the game disc? I wouldn't mind getting them in this sale but that's A LOT of DLC I'd have to buy separately.

I just decided to scrap my old saves and start from scratch. Didn't feel like going to buy a used copy, hook up my 360, go through the migration and then return the used game. I would rather just start from the beginning anyway since that game was in and out for me due to a bunch of personal stuff going on after its release.

I was annoyed by that, too. Glad I don't have a data cap, or having to download the full game again on 360 would have really pissed me off. I just wanted to slash people with Krieg at 60 fps!

Not sure about Injustice but MK9 has all of the content on one disc from what I remember.

I needs my weapons! Seriously though, I put too much time into that character to start over. I just can't do it! I haven't played TPS yet so I'll play that first I guess, then get a BL2 later down the road so I can upload it.

There was only three Mortal Kombat games on 360. Mortal Kombat (AKA MK9), MK vs. DC Universe and Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. MKX is also coming sometime this year supposedly.

Just started the Witcher 3 and I'm loving it so far. The only complaint I have is the mini map on the top right of the screen is hard to read.

Anyone else have problems reading the map?

With witcher 3, I have trouble with all the text and map being too small. I feel like I need to sit next to my tv just to see everything I should be seeing.
 
Well after seeing the sale price the PS4 is getting for the deluxe version of Lego Batman 3 I decided to buy it right away on X1.  That price is looking very good right now.

Yeah, they didn't put numbers on them between 3 and 10 I believe. Most people referred to it as 9 though because of the lack of a subtitle.

Well i think my final haul will be

Mutant Blobs Attack - only one I bought so far, plays like a 2D Katamari, got all the achievements already!

GTA SA - seems to cheap to let it slip by

Assassin's Creed China - was going to buy this at full price anyway 

Lara Croft - loved the first one and less than half price is a no brainer

Lego Batman 3  -  like people said, getting everything for less than the season pass, even though I literally have every lego game to playthrough first!

Killer Instinct Complete - I don't see this ever being free and I was actually debating paying the $80 to so at most I can see this is a couple years down the road going for 75% off if they were desperate or generous, but 60% off seems like to good a deal to pass up. 

It was KI or about 6 $5 games but I can see them going on sale again or cheaper or free and since I have almost 2 years gold I'd rather not buy up what they will give me.

It may not be August, but they confirmed it during E3 that Dragon Age: Inquisition is going to be free for EA Access users some time during the summer. So if you own EA Access (or plan on getting it soon) there is no real point in buying the game. If you're fairly certain you'll love the game however, consider buying the DLC at 33% off.

 
I just realized that every one of the Telltale Games collections are discounted, EXCEPT The Wolf Among Us.  Wonder why that is...
