I know this has been discussed before, but I need some advice.  Just received my  2 TB drive for my 360 and am needing the best way to transfer all my game saves etc.  This is an old model 360 with an external 250 gig hdd.  The 250 is completely full with mainly arcade games and game saves.  (I have a lot of Games on demand purchased but not on the drive). 

I have a transfer cable.  is it possible to use that to transfer everything to the new external drive and then download all of my Games on demand games from my download history?  Would that be my best option?  If this is not possible, is the only way to get the game saves to the new drive by manually copying each one over from the old drive?   I have a ton of content and this is going to be a long process I know.  If the transfer cable will work for my situation, it would definitely help though.  Looking for any advice or suggestions.  Thanks.

Welcome to my world. Last time this happened with me was when DD Neon was on sale for $2.49. And with 360 sales sucking pretty hard since the Xbone hit, I'm concerned that it may never hit that price again.

Enemy Within adds some nice mech-related stuff and has more things to fight, but they're basically the same as far as types of missions and the actual base building war story. EW requires a restart of your game as well, so it's not continuous. Still, if you think EW will go on sale soon, track that one down.

Assuming you mean you have an internal 250GB hard drive, the only way you're moving stuff to the external hard drive is manually. If you download a GoD title, it goes to the internal only and then you have to move it to the external.

I've not been able to select the external drive when downloading anything, so if I'm doing something wrong, someone please correct me.

Well they're gonna have a 32" LED for $75 and a 40" for $115 tomorrow.

They may be crappy quality but, even a crappy quality HDTV is better than a non-HDTV.

Well, I was hoping he'd get 40+ goals again; but it is a shrewd piece of business since he is injury prone (and has been for a while). MU got couple of seasons out of him and he did pretty good. We'll have to trust Rooney, Mata, Di Maria and the lot to come through...Morgan Schneiderlin doesnt look half bad and they got Bastian too, if only they can get rid of Young...pch.

It is an old style 360 (before the slim) with the removable hdd on the side. You might be right about the games on demand. Now that you mention it, it always defaults to that drive. I am still interested in if the transfer cable will work for my situation, though.

That still counts as an internal hard drive, as an external drive in this case is anything that connects via USB. The transfer cable only works for a MS-OEM drive (20GB, 60GB, 120GB, 250GB, 320GB, 500GB) going from one of those drives to another one of those drives. It won't work with a third-party USB-connectable drive, as the connector on the transfer cable is a SATA connector not a USB connector.

You can only use that transfer cable to transfer content from an old internal ("fat" style drive or S/E "internal") drive to a different internal drive that's installed on a 360.

For Forza Rewards you keep your level, so it's not like you cash in your points. The more you do in the game towards the progresses just keeps accumulating. It's somewhat better to play the games in order though, since you get unlocks in the later games (Forza 2 and 3 have no unlocks from Forza Rewards, but they do contribute to it).

Forza Horizon: Fast and Furious for the Xbox One can be helpful because it was free and is fairly short yet can get you at least one car in Forza Horizon 2, along with 500 Rewards points.

If you still play on 360 I recommend picking up Guncraft. Its got tons of hilarious and unique game modes for online gaming, a nice horde mode that you can play coop as well (both online and offline), a very powerful editor for making maps (and it has mass-editing unlike Minecraft), and even the normal gameplay is full of unique things: you can build and destroy blocks (plus destroying them with weapons), use ropes to reach high areas, other than that the general gameplay is basically Call Of Duty inside Minecraft; aiming down the sight, sprinting, meleeing, killstreaks, and more. It's fun, well done and pretty unique despite being a Minecraft clone per se, and if it gains enough of a playerbase it could become really cool. If only it had bots...

Just going to expand on the last response. It doesn't just add mech stuff, the mech stuff is part of a ton of stuff that is added with the Enemy Within expansion, which was only standalone on PC. It also includes the previous two mission DLCs and the minor customization one. Definitely worth the upgrade.

As for the Dues Ex versions a few pages back. I think the base Human Revolution is worth it at the cheap price. If you want to get the DLC at all though, get Director's Cut unless you wait for a sale. DC having the DLC isn't a huge deal, because there is only one real add-on, the rest is some short mission and a weapon pack. The big additions are minor tweaks to the boss fights to make them playable with stealth and hacking builds, a developer commentary like Valve does, and minor gameplay changes like having two batteries (for skills) by default instead of one.

SInce it's not long, I did. It's one of the few Forza games I really enjoyed. The key thing to note is that some of the Blue Boxes to hit are moved, but the One version of the game is much easier because of the available nitrous. I would play it if you plan on getting any future Forza titles, as the rewards credits and cars really help you in the recent games when you first start playing. Also, if you got it when it was free then definitely play it. The visual improvement is very beautiful.

It's annoying that it was forgotten. It's basically the same game, just with lower detail. It doesn't even award the unlocks for Horizon 2 on the 360, which likewise is lacking the features that the One version has, like DLC cars.

Thank you. I should've stated this, but do not read it if you haven't played Arkham Knight. The story contains spoilers for events.

I tried to adhere to canon, while also trying to keep within the settings. Hopefully it works.

It's not bad for what it is. What it is though is an extremely linear adventure game played through a clunky third person action interface with an interesting enough story. 100% on the game is legitimately 6-8 hours and you can do it in about 3-4 with a guide. Personally I liked the game but I still can't recommend it for over $10 when disc copies have frequently hit that price point.

Sold my CoD AW :xb1: controller on ebay and got $40.xx after fees and shipping and

got that AW controller from BB on BF last year and paid the same price ($39.99). I never used it but I did open it so I was able to sell it for a good amount. Couldn't pass up on that Forza controller. Now there better be a Gears of War controller next year  :pray:

From what I heard, the frame drops just as much on the One and on the 360. Might as well grab the 360 version, better yet, buy the disc. I enjoyed the game but it really has no replay value.

If you're going for collectibles, you have to start another game if you missed any. Only good thing is, all the ones you previously collected will be stored, so you won't need to find the same ones over and over.

Just a heads up but for Fast and Furious, there is an issue with it giving all of your reward points. I've completed it a couple of weeks ago and still haven't received all of my points. Known issue on the Forza forums.

It was a one time thing, I take very good care of my controllers. I actually blame CAG for it falling, ya'll distracted me :p. Got my Covert controller coming tomorrow from AWD though.

so i bought an external hard drrive from ebay earlier. it is a WD elements 2TB, i have been waiting for one to go down in price or be on sale for a while, the one i found was $30. can anybody recommend it? i dont know much about any external drives, other than apparently WD is better than seagate?

Amazon UK has a preview page up listing some items that will have Prime Day deals. Switching to PC & Video Games, they show FIFA, ( :360:, :xb1:, :ps4:), BF4 ( :pc:), Destiny ( :xb1:), COD:AW ( :360:, :ps3:, :ps4:), Arkham Knight Exclusive Limited Edition ( :ps4:).

Do the US and UK stores have the same or similar offers for things like this, like Black Friday or Cyber Monday? I might let my brother-in-law know about Fifa.
