Well was fun for me i did not need it done right then like most so i enjoyed randomly finding them. I miss unlocks extras achievements/trophies ruined that.

Just Cause 2 was well over 1,000 collectibles spread out across its huge map. It was still fun to grab them while exploring the island.

Imma let you finish... But Crackdown's agility orbs were the best collectibles ever. As you got more your ability to reach other ones increased. And that weird sound effect was both annoying and immensely satisfying.

It isn't too bad since you can interrogate Riddler henchmen to receive Riddler trophy markers on your map.

 
Did anyone purchase Destiny for Xbox 360 during the sale a couple weeks ago and try to get the Destiny on Xbox One crossbuy? According to Bungie's site the time for doing that was up in January but I wanted to see if anyone had success recently doing the upgrade.

The Kinect is proving to be this Gens RRoD. A number of people on the Xbox Preview Dashboard (including myself) who have run into problems with their Kinects going back several months after an Update. Of course, in typical Microsoft fashion, they'll tell you an Update couldnt possibly be the reason, not even a litte bit! Coincidence is a helluva thing :roll:

I've even pinpointed how and why mines doing it, with 100% replication success.

 
Shame that Tomb Raider Anniversary and Underworld are both Gold only sales. I've been looking to pick them up for a while now and this price sure beats paying 3x as much while hunting down a badly scratched physical copy. But I don't have Gold (not big on multiplayer) and from what I gather in the OP, it looks like trials won't work to get access to the sale prices.

Trials do work. I've been saying this for over a year now.

Also, just for proof, I used a 2 day trial to buy Lara Croft: Temple of Osiris for $8 in stead of the $10 Silver price.

Except I'm looking for TR: Anniversary and Underworld. Not the reboot. Looking at xbldb, the only times these games have been on sale for $5 it's been a Gold only deal.

Is this true for Xbox 360 or only Xbox One? Seems odd that no one updated the OP to include this information. If someone else can second this, I'll try it out (since I don't have a 2 day Gold pass lying around I would probably have to buy one off eBay or something).

 
It only works for Xbox One.  For some reason their setup doesn't distinguish between Gold and Gold Trial like the 360 does.  You can also get the Xbox One Games with Gold titles, though they are like PS+ where they're rentals while you have the paid for service.  But it's worth getting them in case you ever get Gold so you already have a few extra titles to play.

So the Arkham Site won't give me the Season Pass I won because I received too many votes and they said that people didn't log in or make accounts for my votes.  Their fault for making the poll open, even though it benefited the other contestants with their votes too...

Regardless, I can't thank you all here enough for voting for me.  It really did impress me just how great the people of this community are with how you support each other.  I don't care that I lost because of bullshit, non existent clauses, I care that I found supportive people.

That's weird. I remember checking out your proposal and wanted to vote but it seemed like I would have to register and I couldn't be bothered when you had like 3x the 2nd place entry's votes. I was just on my phone, and maybe on pc it would let anyone vote.

They said that I'm not getting it because of IP addresses and lack of sign ins for their open poll. So if any of you voted for me by the same IP address, like you voted from your computer and your wife/husband/significant other with the same IP Address, they're faulting you for having technology. I have roommates and family with roommates, so that was bound to happen. Whatever, that's such a lame clause to make up days after it ends.

If it helps, I thought Arkham Knight was a really weak game with a lousy conclusion. I just hoped that the story DLC would add more to the game, but wasn't about to pay $40 after a $60 disappointment. I'll gladly trade it in to GameStop for $40, and hopefully someone buys it used and enjoys it. But, yeah, this loss means nothing.

Notice that they didn't complain about the traffic I brought their site.

That sucks. I was surprised I could vote without having to register. Wasn't going to vote multiple times from the same machine, but considered voting from my home computer after voting from work, but by the time I got home, you were up something like 90-58 (never went back to see what the final results were). With the low vote totals for the other entries at that time, I wondered if someone would call shenanigans on the results.

Try it from the website if you're interested in getting an Xbox One down the road. You should be able to get the Gold offers for the site if you're inclined.

Yeah. I thought the same. When I left to go to the civic meeting in my area it was like 5:30 and I had about 40 votes and the other guy had over 50. I assumed I had lost. Came home really late, checked to see what I had and literally blurted out "Holy Shit!" when I saw I had 90 votes. It looked super suspicious, but there was no rules against asking people for votes and it was an open poll.

Cool to see that in a poll that was a few days in that in one day when I asked for some views that I was able to jump that high. If only I had asked for votes earlier, maybe I could've broke 150 and blown the site mod's minds.

 
I would argue that one of the other competitors could be trying to sabotage you. It is their fault that they allowed non-registered users to vote. I call shenanigans on the whole contest.
