For the lulz? I always thought adding the skins was just a way of hitting us with microtransactions and milking for more cash. I also still think it takes away from the seriousness of the game. But at this point, idc anymore. I use the darker toned/green skins anyway.
 
I don't mind paying an extra $20 for cosmetics, but if they're unlockable in anyway then I'll consider not paying for it

Gears is easily worth $60 IMO however

question about Wolfenstein the New Blood.  I heard someone say they want the disc version because of the large install of the digital version. Doesnt the disc version have the same install size?

I was thinking this too. I had trials fusion on disc installed and when I bought the digital version on sale it was the same size.

In the Gears 1 / 2 time frame, you couldn't really brag on Epic's forums about your play if you weren't carrying at least a 3.0 K/D ratio, all off-host. With dedicated servers (hopefully) taking away one of the tryhard measuring sticks, as stated above, they need something else to stack the odds against themselves.

Didn't think it was worthy of it own thread but I was just at Best Buy and found the Western Digital My Book 3tb external HDD for $85. Not sure of its ymmv cause the website says $113,but may be worth looking for anyone needs g more space like myself. Would link but I'm on my phone.

Also has anyone transferred all their data to a new HDD yet. Wondering I I can just move my games from my existed external to my new one or if I gotta re-download everything. Also if a transfer is possible how long do you guys think it's gonna take to transfer 1.5Tb?

Installing and downloading are 2 different things. Those with data caps will prefer disc versions.

The gun color won't matter if they decide to keep the insanely bright red and blue multiplayer silhouettes from the beta.

You can spot enemies from a mile away.

I know there's an achievement for shooting a 59, but I'm not sure about any others. I shot a 60 on TPC Boston with a ~150 yard hole out on the 18th. Unfortunately I had missed an easy birdie putt on 17. Gah!
 
Anyone else have trouble getting Tembo to work? I had the demo installed a few days ago but never played it. I bought the game last night through the smartglass app (thanks to shojsauce!). When I tried to play it today, it got to the loading screen right after the splash screen but never got any further. The little wheel just kept spinning. So I quit out and tried again. Same thing. Then I deleted all things tembo from my console, reinstalled and tried again. Same thing.

Anyone heard about this happening to others or is it just shitty luck? I'm gonna keep trying until I have to leave for work.

One time when I played it took upwards of 2 minutes to load at that screen.

Also to TandJame. Have you tried clearing the persistent storage? It's under settings>disc&Blu ray>persistent storage. I don't think it will really do much but anything seems worth a shot

I was wondering why Dishonored was showing $39.99 to me.

I forgot to download a GWG! I double checked, and it was literally the only GWG that I missed. I was playing it under my wifes gamertag and completely forgot to download it under my gamer tag.

Guess I have to wait till the remastered edition goes free with GWG! lol.

As a few others have said, yes, that loading screen with the Tembo in the lower right hand corner can take a couple minutes for some reason. I thought it was fvcked the first time, too.

Yeah, I wouldn't be at all surprised if I was just too impatient. That's the reason I deleted the Ride demo. I'll try again in the morning for sure and just forgo sleep.


Now the big question. Do I buy binding of Isaac now or wait for shojsauce to give it away?

I just got my 1TB Toshiba Canvio Connect II external hard drive in the mail today for my Xbox 360. It was on sale at Best Buy for only $49.99 this week but it will help me to finally save the 10 or so games I purchased but haven't downloaded. I have a few questions.

1. How do I format it for use with the 360?

2. Can games be downloaded directly to the external drive from Xbox Live or do they need to be downloaded to the system first and then moved to the drive?
