I agree if you are a (1) xbox household. I have (3) kids and (2) xbox ones. I buy one xbox live account and one copy of digital games. We all have access to live and games on either xbox, we can even play the game at the same time on both Xboxes. Disc based games certainly are cheaper, which is frustrating. Stocking up on Golden Crisps has helped alleviate that somewhat;)

If he makes his mom's xbox his home xbox, she gets all the games that he buys digitally for his xbox. She does not have to be online to play them (unless they require it, i.e. titanfall, destiny, etc.), she only needs to be able to go online to download them. He would have to be online to play his games though. (She would also get use of his xbox live as well).

Alternatively, she could go down in the basement and play his xbox :lol:

Yeah she lives two states away and doesn't have internet so I'm trying to decide if I should effectively game share with her and download stuff on to her system before I give it to her.

Also, the two versions will share progress so unlocking achievements on either one will cause those same achievements to unlock on the other next time you boot up. If it works properly...

Most of the recent NFS are good, but some focus on cop chases more than others. I really like Hot Pursuit and the recent most wanted although I hear the old Most Wanted is really good. ProStreet and Shift series are track racers although ProStreet has a Horizon festival like feel.

You can only switch your home xbox three times per year (I believe), but if you don't plan on game sharing with anyone else, it wouldn't hurt, especially if you already have several digital games. Then she can ship it to you every couple months to update her library:) Awesome that you have a gamer mom, I'm in my 40s and don't know any women that would choose to play a video game over pretty much anything else (my wife did play rock band with me and will play the occasional party game, but it was never her idea)

 
so he can make mom's xbox the home xbox, then unplug it and switch his back to the home xbox? and it will be fine since she will not be connecting to live?

Finished the "fake" ending to Arkham Knight last night. Really enjoyed the story until about 75% of the way in. Still not horrible, but not super amazing. My favorite Batman game of all time.
The problem with having Scarecrow as the main villain is that you don't believe anything that happens is real. Even if you do, there is still a little doubt in your mind. About 75% of the way in, you find out a few key events you saw throughout the game never happened. The Joker part at the end was a great surprise though.

Harley DLC was about 15 minutes. Some side quests felt longer than that.

Speaking of Arkham Knight...fuuuuuck....FUUUUCKITY fuck fuck those Batmobile AR challenges. I need 22 more stars for the Absolution achievement but that one challenge Drone Zone is just absolutely STUPID. It all comes down to sheer luck. Rocksteady should all die in a fire for this shit. And I haven't even touched the Riddler AR races yet. My blood pressure is rising just thinking about them.

The riddler AR races are surprisingly easy, drone zone is the last tank one right? That was the last one I had to do, it helps if you can hack a couple of vehicles and have them continue to keep your multiplier going.

The ones that I found most annoying were drone zone and the second cobra level

If anybody requested a deposit from XBL Rewards in the last week or two, check to see if what was deposited then go see if you can ask for another deposit.

My deposit of $4.35(4,350) was added to my account today but then I checked rewards and its still there so I just requested another for the 8/13 deposit day.

Maybe it won't get deposited again but worth a try.

Did you upgrade your tank, er, Batmobile all the way? They're fairly easy, especially compared to the challenges of the previous games because of how few and basic they are. Just get the max upgrade and aim for those white/purple weak spots with Vulcan gun.

I've read that the Riddler challenges are easier when done in first person for the driving parts. I can't confirm this, but I could understand how that would help with turning and gauging obstacles better.

Nope. Even while you have an active sub you can buy a forever copy that you actually own. If you go to the store for a game you have through GWG on XB1 you'll see that option. It's a non-issue on 360 since you own those games forever.

yeah my Batmobile is fully upgraded. It still handles like a greased pig sliding around on ice sometimes, though. I actually got through that challenge just now. The one that really gave me a headache was Slumdog Billionaire, where you need to score 24,000 points for 3 stars but you're confined to a very small space and have to keep your streak going for basically 80% of the challenge, but I got that one as well. Just need 9 more stars and I'm done, just need to do NG+ and I'll have my 100%.

I've found that power sliding helps a little bit with the racing bits. Sometimes that thing spins out of control no matter how meticulous you are though. It's such a horribly designed vehicle. Driving shouldn't be so goddamn hard in a video game yet not many devs can get it right.

 
Just a note to the OP that Need for Speed: ProStreet has 17 discontinued achievements and Need for Speed: Carbon has one glitched achievement.

I used Neva(?) who uses a bow so I could keep my distance and I led my team both games. I'm not sure if any of us knew what we were doing though. If anyone wants to play Smite I'm down for it most nights.

EDIT - Hoping this is $19.99. Most likely it will be $39.99. And...yikes... those visuals in the trailer. Kinda looks identical to the Wii U version. Given that observation, I am surprised they are not porting this to PS3/360 either. Doesn't look that technically impressive. Ubi are smart though. The first 45 seconds of this trailer is just slick CG shenanigans.
