Probably lies in the effort. It was likely incredibly easy to port a Wii U game(honestly folks, it's the underpowered system this gen) by removing the gamepad support, cutting multiplayer + there was no dlc. Watchdogs however, has dlc, is a much more graphically intense game and they want to maximize the gamepad use so it's unique. Ubisoft prolly had to squeeze everything they could out of the Wii U in order to cram that game on the disc. All that manpower to bring it over to Nintendo's system, I get they'd want to recoup some of that cost.

Of course Ubisoft is all about the $$$ when it comes to the Wii U. Let's price Watchdogs the same as the other consoles though it's been out over half a year on the competitor's already? Sure!! Rayman Legends is finished on Wii U? Let's hold it back six months so it releases on all systems!! Heck, they even admitted last E3 they have a game specifically for the Wii U that's completed, but they're just sitting on it / end Ubisoft rant

 
I grabbed Lego Marvel last minute, but passed on Lego Movie for now. I was going to grab Max for 360 but I decided to hold off and just try to find the $1 codes y'all were mentioning in the trading thread. I'm not exactly dying to play it so I can wait until I come across one.
 
I actually bought Red Dead Redemption + DLC. Tried it last year and gave up on it about 45 minutes into the story. Mainly because a bunch of other great current gen games were coming out and I just got preoccupied, but I did like the little I had played. So a R* sale benefited me for once.

From what I've read, even for a launch game, ZombiU was a flop and never recovered what it cost to make. It also got some pretty harsh reviews. So with this port having little done to it other than new controls, I'm sure Ubisoft want to makes sure it would at least help bring in enough to pay for itself. So they priced it to sell.

I know I sure as hell wouldn't have spent $60 or even $40 on it. I'm not sure yet if I want to spend even $20.

After I was disappointed when I saw the Rockstar sale this morning, I bought Toy Story 3. Destructoid described its Toy Box mode as a Pixar version of Grand Theft Auto. The sad part is that I'm excited to see how it turns out.

The alpha may or may not be indicative of the final product. Also, a great way to be invited to the Beta may or may not be to pre-order the game, after which point you can or possibly cannot cancel the pre-order.

Pack is just the zombie related content. Collection includes other DLC for more gambling games and multiplayer maps and skins. I've always just dicked around in free-roam and co-op missions for the most part, but if you think you'll play the competitive modes it's probably worth the extra $2.50

It does get old pretty fast but it's fun in short bursts. For the price it is now I recommend it.

Does anyone know if the Mass Effect DLC has been on sale recently or will go on sale soon? I really want to get the Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare Pack and the LA Noire Rockstar Pass but I don't want to spend all my Live credit if Mass Effect DLC will be on sale soon, as I would prefer to get that.

Hopefully the AI is competent. That's something a lot of these co-op only games don't even have and I would like to play a number of them otherwise.
