For whatever reason Spectra wasn't picked up with my first scan. Got it with the 2nd. Volgarr doesn't get picked up because I got it when it was GwG. Doing a limited DLC scan now (skipping DOA, Dance Central, Rocksmith and Rock Band), should take another ~15-20 minutes.

I have played a fair amount of these so here are some mini reviews:

Infinity Runner

I earned 610gs in 6 hours.  The game is an average endless runner.  I found it mildly interesting and played the story to completion but never felt like going back for more achievement cleanup or to play through again on hard.

I recommend it for the price, it should easily provide a couple hours worth of entertainment.

Sparkle Unleashed

I earned 550gs in 11 hours.  This game is tough, but unfortunately it isn't Zuma quality so sometimes it can be a little frustrating.  I never finished the main "story" set of levels because retrying some levels got old.  If I finished another 20 levels it would net me another 100gs and then the remaining 350 seem damn near impossible.

For $4 if you like Zuma its worth a shot to get your fix, for everyone else steer clear.

Wolfenstein:TNO

I earned 720gs in 21 hours.  One of the best shooters in years. I highly recommend this game.  Hell I never thought I would say that the story was the best part of a Wolfenstein game but it is and the controls and action are spot on. A must play game in my book.

At $20 I recommend buying Wolfenstein but not now and not at this price. Find it on sale some time for a physical copy or wait it out and hope for a better sale around the holidays.

Volgarr

I earned 300gs in 3 hours.  Most probably have this from previous GWG but I figure its worth a mention.  Its a very old school platformer that seems well made.  Platformers aren't generally my thing but this one was fun for a short amount of time.  It's very difficult but all the deaths felt like they were my fault and it begged for another run.  If you love old school platformers, this is probably a game for you.

At $5 it's up in the air, maybe it goes cheaper down the road for me I would not buy it again at this price. 

 
Volgarr is fun in a sadomasochistic kind of way. If you enjoy punishing yourself over and over, that shit is nirvana in gaming form. I never made it past the 2nd stage. Hard as fuck.

I think Spectra is the hard one.

Volgarr is weird. If the controls didn't feel so weird I would've liked it more. I like challenging games, but not when I don't feel like I can control my character.

I hope they announce that they figured out how to handle Xbox 360 multi-disc releases and the Mass Effect trilogy - and all owned DLC - is included on the Backward Compatibility list day 1.

 
I get excited about backward compatibility until I realize I will most likely never visit any of those games again. Not to mention how badly some of them run on Xbox One (one example being banjo nuts and bolts).

Anyways, in for the cheap games this week.

Loved Killer is Dead. If you like Devil may cry you'd probably at least somewhat enjoy the game. I like my quirky soda games though and this didn't disappoint.

I've been pointing that out to people, however BKNB had multiple patches since I downloaded it.

I wonder if they are fixing it.

BTW, how are these games running?
I know they are a form of emulation, but why are they downloaded instead of directly off the disc. It always seems highly suspect to me.

 
It's going to be nice to be able to take advantage of some of the 360 deals again. Definitely going to have to pick up a massive external HDD when BC hits. I bought way too many digital games on the 360, but now that they're coming to the Bone I don't feel like I made a huge mistake. I just hope they figure out a way to bring ME2 and ME3 to GoD (if they haven't already?).

They are creating a custom hyperv emulation package for each game that includes the 360 OS and game files bundled together.

I'm talking anout the credits you earn during multiplayer to buy new customization pieces. You used to get a respectable amount, but they screwed with it and made the match rewards are pretty damn low. You basically have to grind like a f2p mmo player to afford anything really.

Still seems suspect.. yea I appreciate the work they're putting into this but.. there are still problems.

I kind of wish they just flicked it on, let us play from disc.

Oddly enough, the most anticipated game (by Pre-order sales #s) is Black Ops 3.

Both the PS4 and XB1 BO3 are higher than any other game to come out this year, each version has over a half million pre-orders respectively.

2nd was Halo 5

Fallout 4 is around 7th place

Tombraider: Ride in the late 20s.

 
What are the 360 sales? All I see is people bitching and moaning about what's included/not included in BC. Also, talking pre-order numbers.

I'm pretty sure the people on chat have many opened chats and don't focus on your problem. I'm guessing they mostly get people that "falsely" got banned or "forgot" their password. Calling is always best if you want results.

Hoping Minecraft Halloween mash-up stays up for awhile. Bing Rewards should be coming in next week and that map is by far the best pre-made map. Filled with puzzles and hidden content.

After that I wouldn't mind "infinite Undiscovery" and "Project Sylpheed".

See I suggested the games I did because there's no option to play it except on the 360, no PC. At least with POP there's a PC version as an option.

I'm not saying that to be a smartass, I just wish we had the option to play those games on PC.

I loved the first three games that you mentioned, but I've never played Sylpheed. You mentioning it alongside the other three games has perked my interest.

 
I think I remember getting Catherine used back in the old Blockbuster days and thinking it melted my mind making me feel incredibly stupid. Traded it in at a later date. Now I'm debating whether to put myself back through the torture. I know it's a great game. Should I? Am I any smarter now than I was then? Probably not...but..maybe..

Wish I knew if was going to be BC.
